Season 1 of VH1’s reality TV show Rock of Love aired all the way back in the summer of 2007 during the height of VH1’s era of “Celebreality” branding. The Bachelor-style dating contest followed 25 women as they all competed to win the heart of Poison frontman Bret Michaels. Like the VH1 celebrity dating shows before it, the show included surprise eliminations, physical challenges, and a whole lot of drama.

Despite being on the show for one season, several contestants achieved a level of notoriety that viewers remember to this day, and some used the show as a launching pad for their careers. Like the first four women eliminated, others have let their 15 minutes of fame pass and have moved on to live outside the spotlight.
