In a recent video, RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Adore Delano surprised fans with news that she was contacted to join the cast of All Stars season 6 but decided to pass on the opportunity. RPDR fans have been eager for news about the next season of All Stars, and now they know production is actively casting season 6 and that Adore will not be a part of it. However, the reason she turned down the chance to join the cast might not be what you’d expect.

Viewers were introduced to Adore in season 6 of RPDR and she quickly became a frontrunner. She impressed judges and fans with her talent and infectious attitude and served up some of the most iconic performances in the entire series. Adore’s skill at singing live and surprising comedic timing took her far in the competition. She made it to the final three but ultimately lost the crown to Bianca Del Rio. Adore was also part of the All Stars season 2 cast, however, she decided to go home in the second episode for personal reasons.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

In a new YouTube video, Adore told fans that RPDR producers have contacted her about joining the cast of the upcoming All Stars season 6. But Adore decided to decline the invitation because, as she put it, “my talent number was too risky.” Recent seasons of All Stars have opened with a talent show that lets the cast show off and wow the judges. Adore wouldn’t say what her talent number was, but teased “it hasn’t been done before and I don’t think any queen does it.

Just because Adore won’t be on All Stars season 6, fans should still be excited for the upcoming season. The edgy queen said “I was getting the skinny on which queens were gonna be on and I was like ‘oh this could be a fun season,’” but ultimately decided she wasn’t going on the show if she couldn’t do her secret talent number. Adore also hinted that there were other reasons why she didn’t want to do All Stars again that had to do with being in the “wrong head space,” but it was primarily about the talent number.

Fans may be disappointed to learn that Adore won’t be a part of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars season 6, though learning about the promising cast that will be involved is an acceptable silver lining. At the end of the day, Adore has to do what’s best for herself and fans need to respect that. However, that’s not going to stop Adore’s followers from wondering what her special talent is, and what would make it so controversial. Hopefully Adore will reveal her epic act soon.
