Maddy Morphosis broke the mold on RuPaul’s Drag Race as the first straight cis male to compete, and many fans have been curious to learn more about his girlfriend, Jennifer Standridge. Out of drag, Maddy’s comfort in his identity and interests are likely what attracted Jennifer to him in the first place. Maddy spoke about his girlfriend on the show and explained that they met while he was in drag. While RuPaul joked that being in the werkroom with the queens could turn Maddy gay, it was obviously just a joke.

Even though the queens were ostensibly supportive of Maddy, many fans questioned if it was right to have a straight contestant on an LGBTQIA+ show like Drag Race. Specifically, many fans questioned this casting decision due to a lack of featuring more trans women and trans men on RuPaul’s Drag Race instead. From Peppermint to Gotmik, there have been several trans queens who were extremely successful on the show. Thus, it felt okay for Drag Race fans to support Maddy given the RuPaul saying “we are all born naked and the rest is drag.” Maddy may not have made it to the end of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 14, but he’s returning to a beautiful woman.

Beyond being a wonderful partner to Maddy, Jennifer performs as Miss Liza The Queen. On her Instagram profile, @themissliza, Jennifer explains that she identified as a Filipino American AFAB bisexual. She also uses Instagram to showcase the diversity of looks she dons as a queen, as well as stories of her live performances. Miss Liza is more than capable of wowing her audience from death drops and splits to dramatic hair flips. Liza even won Oklahoma’s Bold and Beautiful pageant with Maddy right by her side showing support. Maddy may have doubters when it comes to his career in drag, but he looks like an undoubtedly phenomenal boyfriend. In December 2021, Miss Liza invited her fans to a winter wonderland event.

As two people who work as drag performers, Jennifer and Maddy probably help each other refine their looks and makeup skills. While her Instagram is primarily devoted to showcasing her own talents, Jennifer did show Maddy in one of her IG Stories wearing the iconic Guy Fieri look. When it comes to her relationship with Maddy, though, Jennifer often does not share too much. What she does say is that she and Maddy are a power couple and the proud co-parents of two cats. Jennifer is also likely proud that Maddy stood out on Drag Race season 14.
