Ryan Reynolds meets his younger self in new images from his upcoming Netflix film The Adam Project. The sci-fi movie reunites Reynolds with his Free Guy director Shawn Levy just a mere few months after their original comedy broke out at the box office. With a Free Guy 2 being discussed over at Disney, Reynolds and Levy’s creative partnership appears to be only just getting started. Next up is The Adam Project, which arrives on Netflix in March. The buzzy movie also includes the talents of Zoe Saldana, Jennifer Garner, and Mark Ruffalo, and features the arrival of newcomer Walker Scobell.

The Adam Project centers on Reynolds’ Adam, a time traveler from 2050 who has plunged into the past to find his love Laura (Saldana) after she gets lost in the space-time continuum. However, when Adam’s ship is damaged, he ends up in 2022 and meets his younger self (Scobell). In order to find his way back home – and possibly repair some painful parts of his life – Adam will also need to confront his parents (Garner and Ruffalo), especially his late father.

A handful of first look images from The Adam Project have already been revealed online, but now Netflix has unleashed a bigger batch that shows off its impressive cast. Many of the images features Reynolds’ and Scobell’s Adams interacting, though The Adam Project‘s other big names also get their time in the spotlight. Plus, there’s a shot of Levy and Reynolds interacting on set. Check out the pictures down below.

Reynolds’ previous outing on Netflix, Red Notice with Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot, became one of the streamer’s biggest original movies after it premiered last fall. Whether The Adam Project will be able to capture that same magic remains to be seen, but it has a lot going for it already. In addition to the cast, The Adam Project is bolstered by a compelling premise that is bound to resonate with plenty of viewers. Plus, Reynolds and Levy have already proven they can make a pretty fun movie together.

Of course, The Adam Project also carries a much different premise. While the above images hint at the sci-fi concepts, it’s clear the movie is more interested in the character dynamics. Reynolds and Scobell are guaranteed to have plenty of scenes together as the two Adams, but it’ll be interesting to see Reynolds act opposite Ruffalo and Garner as his parents. The Adam Project has the potential to be a special movie for Netflix, and fans will get to see it unfold on the streamer next month. In the meantime, expect a trailer to arrive soon to give a better idea of what to expect from this family adventure.
