Ryan Reynolds reveals that he would love to do a revival of his old show, Two Guys, A Girl, and a Pizza Place. Reynolds is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in the world right now, having starred in the likes of Deadpool, Free Guy, and Red Notice. He is next slated to appear in The Adam Project, another collaboration with Free Guy director Shawn Levy, which is due out on Netflix later this month and is already earning praise from critics for its surprising emotional depth.

Before he became the massive star that he is today, however, Reynolds starred in Two Guys, A Girl, and a Pizza Place, a sitcom for ABC. The show ran for four seasons from 1998 to 2001 and revolved around the exploits of three twenty-somethings who share a Boston apartment and work at a pizzeria. Reynolds starred as Michael “Berg” Bergen opposite co-stars Nathan Fillion, Traylor Howard, Richard Ruccolo, Suzanne Cryer, and Jillian Bach.

In a new interview with Inverse, Reynolds reveals that he would actually be open for a reunion special for Two Guys, A Girl, and a Pizza Place. He looks back fondly on his time making the show, claiming that he “loved the cast desperately” and that it’s one of the best acting jobs he’s ever had. Check out Reynolds’ full comment below when asked about the possibility of a revival:

I would do that in a heartbeat. That was one of the best jobs I’ve ever had in my life. Truly. I mean it. I loved every second of it.

Reynolds goes on to say that he’s still in touch with some of his co-stars, saying, “Even yesterday I spoke with Nathan Fillion and Traylor Howard. But yeah, hopefully, we’ll see.” If the other cast members share Reynolds’ enthusiasm for a revival, then it’s certainly not outside the realm of possibility. Although the show’s ratings did dip towards the end of its lifecycle, Two Guys, A Girl, and a Pizza Place was popular during its four-season run.

Reynolds’ comments regarding a revival of the sitcom come at a time when many shows previously thought concluded are returning for limited runs. Dexter: New Blood, And Just Like That…, The Fairly Odd Parents: Fairly Odder, iCarly, and more have all brought shows back from the dead in some form or another. With Reynolds’ star power and enthusiasm to see the show return, Two Guys, A Girl, and a Pizza Place would actually seem to have a pretty good chance. If the rest of the cast is as passionate about the show as Reynolds is, a revival might be a question of “when” rather than “if“.
