Sea of Thieves: Where to Find The Silver Blade Journals

Sea of Thieves sails into its third season. While it had a rocky start when it first launched, so much content has been added since then, including seasons. Recently season 3 was released for Sea of Thieves. Its new content is called A Pirate’s Life and is a crossover with Pirates of the Caribbean.

Players can meet up with Captain Jack Sparrow and other notable characters of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. There are new tall tales to do, along with commendations for each. One commendation is titled “Pieces of Silver,” which requires players to find five Silver Blade journals in the Sunken Pearl Tall Tale. Some of the journals are very well-hidden, so here’s where to find them.

Finding the Silver Blade Journals in Sea of Thieves

The first one is hidden behind wooden wreckage in the room with the first of the siren statue puzzles. Conveniently, the wreckage is next to one of the statues, so it is not too hard to find. It is titled “A Run of Good Luck.”

The second Silver Blade journal is “An Ancient Mystery.” It is found in the same room but higher up. To get to it, players first need to fill the room with water by completing the puzzle. The water flows from the mouth of a stone head, and to its right is one of the siren statues. Just above the statue is a small alcove with seaweed. That’s where the journal is.

Next is “Unwanted Company.” This journal is found after players have entered the citadel. Ahead of them is a ship that has broken in half, and players can find the journal in the ship’s hull on the left.

“From Bad to Worse” is the next Silver Blade journal that players must find. It is found in another shipwreck farther within the citadel in a big chunk of ship.

Finally, the final fifth journal is called “Don’t Look for Us” and is in the large chamber where players can lower a piece of a ship by using a pulley. Players must use the pulley to get on the ship and then jump down onto the cliff that juts out. There they can access the other wrecked ship. The journal is found where the captain’s cabin would be in the shipwreck, on top of a wooden crate.

Upon reading all of the journals, players get the “Pieces of Silver” commendation, which helps the player through the season journey and can lead to nice rewards, including Ancient Coins.

Sea of Thieves is available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
