On Seeking Sister Wife, Sidian’s main objective was to find another wife so that he and his wife Tosha Jones could have a plural marriage. Sidian first appeared on Seeking Sister Wife season 3 in 2021. Between the dramatic lives of the Snowden and Merrifield families, Sidian and Tosha appeared to be one of the more relatable couples. However, as viewers discovered more about Sidian and Tosha’s background, the polygamist pair started to fit in with the rest of the questionable Seeking Sister Wife cast. Even though Sidian and Tosha are not technically married, they consider themselves to be husband and wife. Sidian and Tosha have been together for 4 years, but Tosha isn’t Sidian’s first “wife.”

Back when Sidian Jones first met Tosha, he was actually already married. In fact, Sidian’s first wife has claimed that the Seeking Sister Wife stars are untrustworthy. This accusation came because Sidian’s ex-wife wasn’t keen on having a plural marriage when Sidian and Tosha started seeing each other. Sidian’s ex-wife claimed that he cheated on her with Tosha, so she ultimately left him. It also came out that Sidian’s former wife was arrested, along with Tosha, for burglary. Sidian has three children from his previous marriage who are 7, 9, and 12 years old. Since Sidian’s first wife left him, he’s had trouble finding another partner to join his and Tosha’s polygamist lifestyle. On Seeking Sister Wife season 3, Sidian pursued Alexandra, a potential sister wife he met online. Ultimately, Alexandra just wasn’t interested in settling down and becoming a mother to Sidian’s trio of children.

When Sidian isn’t on Seeking Sister Wife repairing the fallout of his previous marriage, he is busy working as an entrepreneur. Sidian has an extensive career in which he’s taken on several roles, such as designer, founder, and CEO. According to Sidian’s LinkedIn, the polygamist began his graphic design career in 2010. For a couple of months, Sidian worked as a graphic designer for the Institute of Noetic Sciences, a non-profit based in California. Sidian also worked as a freelance designer on the side for 5 years. In 2012, Sidian authored his first book, The Voice of Rolling Thunder. In June 2013, Sidian did the graphic design for the cover of Stephen King’s novel, Hard Listening. Between 2013 and 2014, Sidian was a user interface designer for Apple. In 2019, Sidian founded his latest business venture, MyMythos, which is dedicated to helping people discover their own personal mythologies.

Even though Sidian and Tosha are one of the few Seeking Sister Wife couples still together, his past relationship history is much more complicated than meets the eye. On top of his complicated quest to start a plural marriage, Sidian has navigated an accomplished but intricate career that is broad enough to encapsulate working for Apple’s interface to starting his own mythology company. While Sidian might not have the simplest Seeking Sister Wife story, he has a very unique one.
