Seeking Sister Wife: What Happened To Donna Alldredge After Season 2
The Alldredge family searched for the perfect addition to their plural marriage throughout their years starring in Seeking Sister Wife, and after season 2, Donna Alldredge turned out to be the woman Jeff, Vanessa, and Sharis were looking for. Although viewers never got to meet Donna, the Alldredge clan shared plenty about the sister wife’s personal life throughout their ill-fated marriage. From her turbulent relationships with Jeff, Vanessa, and Sharis to her complicated custody battle, here’s everything that happened to Donna Alldredge after Seeking Sister Wife season 2.
The Alldredge family was introduced to viewers in Seeking Sister Wife season 1, and at the time, the polygamists were still sorting through some family drama. Jeff had another wife that left him, Vanessa, and Sharis before Seeking Sister Wife began production because she didn’t have any interest in becoming a television personality like the rest of the Alldredge family members. Jeff, Vanessa, and Sharis did their best to fill the void left by their former sister wife but never managed to find the perfect woman to welcome to their plural marriage. Throughout Seeking Sister Wife seasons 1 and 2, the Alldredges courted many women but never found their match until they happened upon Donna Alldredge after season 2.
Unfortunately for fans of the Alldredges, the polygamous clan wasn’t asked to return to Seeking Sister Wife season 3. Jeff, Vanessa, and Sharis Alldredge shared that the reality series was looking for different kinds of families to feature, but they weren’t exactly sure why they weren’t offered the chance to continue their stories after Seeking Sister Wife season 2. Although the polygamists ended their run in Seeking Sister Wife in 2019, Jeff, Vanessa, and Sharis’ search for another sister wife never concluded. On July 14, 2020, the Alldredge family shared the joyous news that they finally found a suitable sister wife to join their plural marriage in Donna. With Donna came her young daughter, Evelyn, who the new sister wife had to fight a custody battle for shortly after joining Jeff, Vanessa, and Sharis’ marriage. Fortunately, Donna received the full support of the Alldredge family during her crisis.
After sharing that Donna fell into a custody battle for her daughter as a result of her marrying the Seeking Sister Wife family, the Alldredge crew pleaded for their followers to support Donna with a now-deleted GoFundMe. While Donna never shared more about her custody case, the Alldredge family’s followers learned more about the new sister wife’s relationship with Jeff, Vanessa, and Sharis less than a year after Donna’s wedding day. On June 2, 2021, the Alldredge family took to their family Facebook page to announce that their relationship with Donna had ended. The polygamists explained, “Our marriage with Donna is over. We have been physically separated since November and the decision to end the marriage finalized in April.” While it’s clear that Donna’s involvement in Jeff’s plural marriage is no more, Donna has kept her personal life private after Seeking Sister Wife season 2.
Donna answered the Alldredge family’s long-running expedition for another polygamist partner after Seeking Sister Wife season 2, but she didn’t have the perfect relationship with Jeff, Vanessa, and Sharis Alldredge. From her custody battle to her short-lived marriage, the Alldredge family endured hardship with Donna Alldredge after season 2. Regrettably, Donna turned out to be another letdown for the former Seeking Sister Wife stars.
