Selling Sunset‘s Chrishell Stause shared teasers about her upcoming book, Under Construction, including details about her divorce with Justin Hartley. While Chrishell has faced hardship, she has come into the new year with a renewed sense of self. Vocalizing her desire to be a mother after her split with Jason Oppenheim, the reality star is unwilling to let her breakup stop her dreams. Focused on her friendships at the Oppenheim Group and her career, Chrishell has plenty in store for her moving forward, despite her unconventional path to success.

Amid her dreams of family life, Chrishell has been heavily involved with Selling Sunset and her castmates, both on and off-screen. Planted firmly in the center of season 4 drama, Chrishell has managed to get entangled in a number of messy arguments, specifically with her office rival, Christine Quinn. Taking a predominant role at Oppenheim, Chrishell has slowly pushed negativity out of the office as she ascends the hierarchy at the office, making Christine’s bad behavior unwelcome at the office and in her friend group. Still dealing with her exes, including Keo Motsepe, Chrishell has made certain that none of her past mistakes follow her into 2022, both in her personal life and on Selling Sunset.

As shared by Us Weekly, Chirshell candidly explored her relationship with Justin, something the reality star has remained relatively quiet about. When asked about the end of her marriage, Chrishell explained how she idolized Justin throughout their marriage, desiring a Notebook-esque love story for herself and her ex-husband, “holding wrinkly hands and laughing about an inside joke” with the love of her life, but the situation ended in a less than desirable turn of events. While Justin has been painted as the villain, both by the media and Selling Sunset, Chrishell admitted that any divorce involves “two people” and that both parties must “own your part in what went wrong.” Gracefully commenting on her shocking divorce from Justin, Chrishell has used the pain to better herself, rather than “being the victim” of the situation, taking back some control over her life.

Candidly exploring one of the most painful memories from her past, Chrishell helps shed light on the situation, humbly giving details about why her marriage came to an end. Without being petty, Chrishell did throw shade at Justin by expressing that she “wouldn’t have handled the break up in the way he did.” Even though she wishes Justin had shown more respect for her, Chrishell acknowledges how the divorce was a blessing in many ways, saving her the suffering of trying to “fix something that was irreparably broken.” While Justin and Chrishell have shared harsh words in the past, the two seem to be moving on with their separate lives as smoothly as possible, given the unfortunate circumstances.

As Selling Sunset season 5 approaches and the release of Under Construction, fans have plenty of content to catch up on in regards to Chrishell’s life updates, her divorce and current love life included. While Chrishell has been involved in a number of exciting, dramatic moments on the series, her book helps to explain exactly what went wrong and what she has learned throughout the process. With the potential to unveil cast secrets and certain to give an intimate insight into Chrishell’s painful past and her bright future, her new release, Under Construction, proves to be a must-read for reality television fans, managing to cover everything from Chrishell’s exes to her humble beginnings.
