Chrissy Teigen is eating her words after Jason Oppenheim, one of the kings of real estate, tweeted Teigen to let her know that he would be showing her house to his clients. This comes on the heals of Teigens accusations regarding the authenticity of the Selling Sunset cast.

A few weeks ago fans were starting to speculate whether agents Maya, Heather, Christine, Mary, Amanza, Davina, and Chrishell were hired by Netflix. There were even rumors floating around that former soap opera actress Chrishell Stause was simply brought in to insinuate drama. All the girls have had to defend their credentials to fans as well as to Teigen. With fans knowing Teigen was hooked on Selling Sunset they asked for her opinion, to which she replied “I will say, I look at LA real estate a lot and have never seen any of these people lol neither have our agents, who I have obsessively asked.” Of course it didn’t just stop with the girls.

According to Cosmopolitan, reported that Jason Oppenheim had to defend himself as well. He put out a post on Twitter to Teigen respectfully stating that he loves her house but doesn’t know her real estate friends either. The tweet stated “Regarding your agent’s knowledge of members of my team, I respectfully don’t know him either, although that doesn’t mean he isn’t successful and didn’t just sell you a stunning home in Weho (seriously, I love your new house).” The ultimate plot twist in this story is that Teigen and her music superstar husband John Legend have recently put their million dollar home up for sale.

Giving the perfect opportunity for the Selling Sunset agents to swoop in for a looksie and to put their real estate credentials to work. As a matter of fact, Jason Oppenheim tweeted to Teigen recently about how he has a showing at her house. The post stated “@chrissyteigen If you want to see if I’m real, I’ll be showing your house tomorrow morning to one of my clients.” The ultimate way to say hey this is real, the Oppenheim Group is real, our agents are real, and we’re working tomorrow!

It will be interesting to see how Teigen responds at this point. What started out as curiosity has since turned into a silent passive aggressive back and forth. Of course it gives them and fans something to do and watch during quarantine so is it really all bad? The real question is how low can Jason Oppenheim get Teigen and Legends house for.
