It takes an expensive village to be Selling Sunset‘s Christine Quinn. Christine is one of the cast members of Netflix’s hugely successful hit show Selling Sunset that centers around a group of ultra successful luxury real estate agents in L.A. who hang their license at The Oppenheim Group. Christine recently revealed just what it takes to be her and look that good. Shockingly, her hair and make up alone could run her up to $1K in a day!

Fans of Selling Sunset look forward to Christine’s glam reveals from head to toe, as much as they enjoy getting a glimpse inside the posh multi-million dollar estates represented on the show. In every scene Christine knows how to bring it and bling it, whether it’s the sparkly diamond bling on her ring finger, to her floor length beyond braids or sky high pony. She shows up to all showings, whether for real estate or otherwise, bringing the glitz and glamour. We also now know what Christine’s MO is when we see her rocking those high ponytails as she has previously mentioned, “Every time I have a high ponytail, I always feel like I’m ready to stir up some s___, like I’m ready for the day.”

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Christine revealed exactly what her glam budget is, while decked out in full glam of course, on a video interview call from her kitchen, with ET Online, admitting she’s always been “extra” and stating that  “my glam every day if I do hair and make up is close to $1000 day!” That’s not even including wardrobe. Christine goes on to say that “Season 1 had a certain budget. Then Season 2 had a budget of love.” She is no doubt referring to her new love and multi millionaire hubby, Christian Richard. On Selling Sunset season 2, Christine revealed her dirty little (not so) secret of sometimes sneaking into her man’s wallet to grab his AmX. “We don’t really talk about money but, if I want something, I have been known to go in his wallet, take out his American Express, take a picture, send it to the salesperson. He has some alerts on his phone. So I have my Louis Vuitton rep on speed dial so when he’s sleeping. I’ll have her buy a purse and then & then I’ll delete the notification while he’s sleeping. Some call it fraud, I call it love.” When asked about comparisons with and giving off vibes of another Reality Star on RHOBH, also known for being expensive, Real Housewife of Beverly Hills, Erika Jayne, Christine replied, “I’ve always been extra, so over the top. That’s just who I am. I love that people relate me to Erika Jayne. It’s obviously an honor but I’m just being myself. “ Ironically, one of Erika Jayne’s hit songs is called XXPEN$IVE, with the chorus lyrics “It’s expensive to be me.”

Christine admits “she loves real estate because she can be her own boss.” Fans will notice that aside from an increased budget on Selling Sunset season 2, along with her hubby’s wallet, she is a very powerful, successful businesswoman on her own merit and does very well on her own. The commissions she makes on her sales is no chump change. For instance on a $4 million dollar home, her average commission on either the selling or listing side would be around$100,000. Fans might notice Christine wears a diamond heart choker necklace almost every day that she bought for herself from her own commission that serves inspiration to herself and subsequently those around her.

Part of why we love to watch Christine so much is because she brings the drama and is a natural performer. She initially came out to L.A. to pursue a career as an actress and model. Christine also shares her elaborate over the top looks on her Instagram page @thechristinequinn. Each post looks like she just stepped out of a page of a major fashion shoot, like Vogue. Glamazon Christine put on a grand show at her “extra” engagement party on Selling Sunset 2, which had a theme party centered around a live zebra! Fans can’t wait to see Christine’s upcoming epic gothic Winter Wonderland Wedding, which will be featured on Selling Sunset 3. How does one top a zebra? We’ll all find out starting August 7, when Netflix releases Season 3.
