Emma Hernan, a real estate agent featured on Netflix’s Selling Sunset, opened up about the rumors surrounding her potential relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Peter Cornell. While well-liked at the Oppenheim Group overall, Emma and Christine Quinn have had disagreements, both on and off of the reality series. The two have a past that eventually played out throughout season 4.

The major drama of the season was that Christine claimed that she had once been engaged to Peter and he cheated on her with Emma. Emma maintained that she and Peter were dating at the same time, but it was Christine who was the the mistress and not her. She also questioned whether or not Peter had actually proposed to Christine or if the agent was just making things up.

In any case, some fans believe that Emma and Peter might still be together. As reported by E!, Emma cleared up the gossip, explaining that the rumors might have been spread by “you-know-who,” (also known as Christine). She added that the gossip surrounding her and Peter is “100 percent false.” Clearly upset about the situation, Emma went on to call out Christine for escalating the drama involving Peter, claiming that Christine “took of a photo of [Emma] and [her] ex at a group setting,” making it appear as if the two are more than just friends. While many have been quick to believe the growing rumors about the two, Emma has been clear that she and Peter “have a friendship in a business setting.”

Not only has Christine ostracized herself from the girls at the Oppenheim Group, but she has clearly created bad blood with Emma. From Christine lying about her past with Peter to adding unnecessary scandal to the series, Christine has done nothing but damage her relationship with Emma. Unflinching in her criticisms of Christine, Emma has come out time and time again to call out Christine’s immature, dishonest behavior. In light of the photos that have emerged of Emma and Peter together, Emma blames Christine and even claimed she “gave [the photos] to people.” Emma ended her conversation about the scandal by taking jabs at Christine’s marriage, hinting that the two must be unhappy if Christine is “taking pictures of [her] ex.” Without remorse, Emma boldly reclaims her truth and has allowed Christine to take the fall for this incident, making Christine appear obsessed and desperate.

Clearly the Christine and Emma ex-drama continuing is not ending anytime soon. With Selling Sunset season 5 fast approaching, fans will just have to wait to see how it all plays out. And whether or not Peter, who also works at the Oppenheim Group, has anything to say about it.
