Chrishell Stause from Selling Sunset chose to clap back at her outspoken blind date, who took to social media in an attempt to throw shade. Many viewers were offended by the man who was brought on a yacht party to entertain Chrishell. Since she was a recent divorcee, Heather Rae Young and Tarek El Moussa tried to set her up with someone. However, when the guy took his flirting too far, he ended up making a fool of himself on national television. Apparently, he isn’t going down without a fight.

Things got awkward fast when Chrishell was introduced to Robert Drenk during a blind yacht party date. Things got extremely cringeworthy when Rob decided to physically pick up Chrishell while she was dancing with her castmates. As he carried her away, Robert told Chrishell that she was “too hot,” and he couldn’t resist trying to sweep her off her feet. Chrishell was visibly offended by the move, and Robert’s advances didn’t go over too well. He later asked her, “You wanna dance or get to know me?” Chrishell told him that she just wanted to dance. “OK, I’ll let you dance,” he replied. However, when Chrishell tried to rejoin her friends, Robert refused to get out of his seat to let her scoot out.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

While watching the awkward encounter play out onscreen, instead of issuing an apology, Robert decided to make a lengthy statement on Instagram. He blasted Chrishell for turning him down. “I was setup on a blind date back in June that was filmed for Selling Sunset season 4,” Robert explained in a caption that continued in his comments section. Robert went on to share insights about the failed blind date and how producers decided it would be filmed for the show. In the comments, Robert accused Chrishell of trying to make him look like a creep on the show when he expected to get to know her better. He also claimed that Chrishell was dating Jason Oppenheim at the time, and never had any intention of dating him.

Instead of ignoring Robert’s plea for attention, Chrishell left a comment asking him to “stop tagging me in things.“She went on to shut Robert down once again. “I would have understood if you were nervous and acted differently because of that,” Chrishell said, before noting that the behavior she’d witnessed was something that she “didn’t vibe with.” She went on to call out Robert for “picking me up & then not getting up to let me out”, adding that his actions were, “not great.” Chrishell also explained how “rude” Robert came off on the show. “Then you were also very rude to me when I went to say that it was nice to meet you & say goodbye,” she said.

Chrishell made sure to clear up Robert’s claims of being snubbed because of her secretly dating Jason at the time of the blind date. “I was single. You were rude. It wasn’t a match. Let’s all move on please,” Chrishell quipped. If Robert was looking to gain his own fan club, he might’ve gotten just the opposite response. Chrishell’s blind date with Robert was one of the more awkward encounters of season 4. The Selling Sunset star is expected to open up about her relationship with Jason in season 5. The couple decided to keep things under wraps. However, Chrishell is adamant that she wasn’t dating Jason while she was snubbing Robert.
