Shout! Factory is launching Scream Factory TV on April 15th, a new 24/7 TV channel based on its horror sub-brand, Screen Rant can exclusively announce. Scream Factory launched in 2012 and has since become one of the most esteemed and well-respected authorities in horror and sci-fi cult classics, in addition to bringing new movies and original productions to a wide audience.

Shout! Factory made its mark by releasing and reviving beloved cult films and classic TV series for the home market. Launching back in 2002 as Retropolis Entertainment, the company focused on releasing feature films, classic and contemporary television series, animation, live music, sports and comedy specials on VHS (and eventually DVD, Blu-ray and digital), many of which were previously unavailable. Moving the same business model into the horror genre, Scream Factory has given the deluxe Collector’s Edition treatment to such favorites as The Thing, Escape From New York, Carrie and Nightbreed, released the indie phenomenon The Babadook, and taken on original productions and theatrical releases such as Fender Bender, Bite and Bloodsucking Bastards.
