Sister Wives: Kody Brown’s Dramatic Transformation Through The Years

The reality hit Sister Wives started airing in 2010, and we’re about to talk about how the show’s star Kody Brown has changed over time. Everyone ages and there’s nothing wrong with that, so we’re focusing mostly on how his style has evolved over the years. For example, Kody has made changes to his hair that fans definitely comment on. He is certainly a mature man these days at the age of 52, and there is no doubt that he has the problems of a bona fide adult. He’s got four wives to please and possible money problems. Plus, he needs to map out the future of his large family.

Of course, some fans don’t think that he pleases his wives at all, except maybe Robyn Brown, who’s considered his favorite even though he was reportedly shopping around for a young fifth wife, according to InTouch Weekly. That new candidate for sister-wife status apparently rejected him. Some fans think that he neglects his current wives and he’s even been accused of failing to spend enough time with his own grandchildren.

Amid all of the shade and gossip, Kody continues his reality TV reign, while fans think his wives should leave him. Viewers have watched him change before their very eyes, from season to season, through a staggering array of ups and downs. He’s lived so much life with the cameras rolling.

Kody Brown Looked So Young When He Married Meri

It’s hard to believe that Kody and Meri Brown were ever happy, but they were both radiant on their wedding day. Back then, Meri may not have realized how rocky the road ahead would actually be. In the wedding pic shown above, they are glowing, and both of them look very young and innocent. They tied the knot on April 21, 1990, and Kody divorced Meri in 2014 so he could make Robyn his legal wife. Some fans think that Meri is now done with Kody for good.

Kody Is Known For His Signature Shaggy Locks

Kody’s signature look was on display in the Instagram post above. He’s known for rocking a shaggy look, and some fans think that he needs to deep condition his parched locks. However, he seems to feel confident with his go-to style. Even when he experiments with his hair, he seems to come back to the shaggy look, which shows off his curls. In the pic above, he posed happily with his sister wives. They don’t always look so happy on the show.

Kody Tried Ponytails And Man Buns

In the pic shown above, reality icon Kody showed off a slick new look that had true hipster vibes. The Coyote Pass property owner went for a ponytail that looked surprisingly modern. During this phase, he also dabbled with a man bun hairstyle, which fans didn’t exactly appreciate. Overall, though, the ponytail style was fairly flattering, as it was well-groomed and showed off his face.

Kody Rocked A Minimal Look In 2017

In 2017, Kody stuck with his sleek look and paired his ponytail or man bun (we can’t see the back of his hair in the photo shown above) with a flattering shirt that was just right for his coloring. He also rocked facial hair that gave him a rugged vibe. In this shot, he looked more than happy to pose with the gang at T-Mobile Arena.

Kody has changed, but is he older and wiser? Some Sister Wives viewers say no. They point to his allegedly weak leadership skills and his inability to get it together with Meri as proof positive that he will never grow up. While he’s got that mature look, there may be a little bit of Peter Pan in Kody.
