Sister Wives: Why Fans Think Robyn Fakes Devastation Over Christine Exit

Part one of the Sister Wives Tell-All featured a few bombshells, including Robyn Brown breaking down about Christine Brown leaving their shared husband, and fans think that she was just pretending to care. After over 25 years of marriage, Christine shockingly announced her divorce from Kody Brown. Here are all of the reasons why fans think Robyn was faking her emotional pain over Christine’s departure.

Sister Wives season 16 followed the Browns facing their most difficult challenge yet, the pandemic. The family was more divided than ever, as each household set its own rules for dealing with the pandemic. Family members in the various households were forced to spend much of the season away from one another. This was hard for the four wives’ children, as they were not able to see their father and siblings very often. It ultimately led to the biggest surprise of the season. Though many fans wished Christine would leave Kody for years, his strict COVID rules, his reluctance to move back to Utah, and their lack of a physical relationship led Christine to officially announce that she’d left their spiritual union.

The first episode in the three-part reunion series found the sister wives and Kody watching footage of Christine saying she felt that family events were hostile. She added that she felt everyone hated her but admitted that it was her own self-doubt that left her feeling that way. Robyn said that she wanted to make sure Christine never thought that she hated her, but many fans think Robyn is faking at least some of her sadness at Christine leaving.

During Sister Wives season 16, the family seemed split on how they reacted to the COVID-19 pandemic. On one side, Kody and Robyn set restrictive rules, while Janelle Brown and Christine felt that being around other family members was necessary. However, during the reunion, Robyn said that she was the neutral party, while Kody was the extreme one, and fans called her insincere. While lots of fans do not think that Robyn is the cause of Christine leaving, they could see how Robyn might be more at peace with it than she has let on.

Robyn also got emotional very early on in her reunion segment, as she was brought to tears while discussing Christine’s exit. She stated that the situation was extremely painful for her. Sister Wives fans consider Robyn Kody’s favorite wife and think that he neglected his other wives to spend more time with her. If Robyn wants Kody all to herself, she may actually be relieved that Christine left, as one less wife means more time with Kody. Also, she wouldn’t have to worry about her family moving again, as Christine headed for Utah, while Kody stayed back in Flagstaff with her and their kids.
