Fan-favorite Sister Wives Meri Brown and Christine Brown have been criticized for their connection to LuLaRoe, but they haven’t shown any signs of backing down from the allegedly crooked business. Typically, Meri and Christine receive the most affection among the Sister Wives stars because they tend to be the victims of Kody Brown’s neglect. Despite fans’ protest, Christine and Meri placed themselves in the middle of the LuLaRoe controversy, and here’s why the pair of polygamist reality stars are remaining loyal to the company.

LuLaRoe is a multi-level marketing business selling women’s clothing that has been subject to criticism in the past few years. The company was founded in 2012 by couple Mark Stidham and DeAnne Bran. In 2019, the State of Washington Attorney General Office filed a lawsuit against LuLaRoe for allegedly operating as a pyramid scheme. LuLaRoe was dependent on their clients recruiting new consultants to work underneath them in order to increase their revenue, which could’ve potentially formed a pyramid-structured hierarchy. Ultimately, LuLaRoe paid $4 million to settle the lawsuit.

Recently, LuLaRoe has been back on Sister Wives fans’ radar as the Amazon docuseries LuLaRich has exposed the company’s fraudulent ways. The new docuseries inspired another wave of outrage against the company, which has specifically affected Sister Wives stars Meri and Christine given that they both work with LuLaRoe. Christine and Meri started working for LuLaRoe in 2016 alongside Janelle and Christine’s daughter, Mykelti. Meri and Christine are very dedicated to their work with the controversial company, which makes them the targets of fans’ frustration. Despite the backlash that comes with sponsoring LuLaRoe, neither Meri nor Christine have demonstrated signs of putting their work with LuLaRoe behind them. On September 21, Christine shared a selfie captioned “lularoekelly.” On September 18, Meri shared a picture with her dog that featured the hashtags “LuLaRoeRetailer” and “LuLaRoeForLife.”

Unfortunately, it seems like Christine and the troublemaker Meri Brown will be committed to LuLaRoe for a long time. Even though the sister wives’ comments are flooded with criticism, it has not phased the reality stars. The Sister Wives stars are dedicated to their business because they need the income. Recently, Kody hasn’t been able to provide for his large family by himself, which prompted Janelle to work as a real estate agent for some time. Due to their fame, Christine and Meri are surely bringing in a lot of new clients into the LuLaRoe system. While this could be possibly bad for certain victims of a potential pyramid scheme, this means that Meri and Christine are still making a profit. The sister wives’ income keeps them loyal to LuLaRoe regardless of the multi-level marketing business’ alleged crimes.

Fans are sympathetic to Meri and Christine because they have endured difficult journeys on Sister Wives. However, their continued support of LuLaRoe is indefensible to certain fans. Despite receiving judgment from fans, Meri and Christine are likely to continue working for the company as they need the income. While fans might be disappointed by the Sister Wives stars’ alignment with LuLaRoe, Meri and Christine appear to be unbothered.
