Sister Wives: Why Some Fans Think Christine Brown Regrets Leaving Kody

Fans of Sister Wives have noticed how happy Christine Brown has been since leaving Kody Brown in the dust, but some viewers are wondering if she has started to miss her old life with the patriarch. For years, the two seemed like a solid couple, but news broke back in November that their marriage had come to an end. While Christine is now free to do as she pleases, she may be missing her life partner sometimes.

For multiple seasons, Christine questioned her connection with Kody. The entire family has been struggling with the polygamist lifestyle since it has made it hard for them to get their needs met. The trouble started in 2010 after Kody introduced his fourth wife, Robyn Brown. At the time, Christine believed that she was going to be her husband’s last wife. As fans learned, Christine finally decided she had enough of her union and left her husband in November, so she could move back to Utah. She hasn’t looked back, even though fans think that the big life change may leave her feeling lonely.

Kody and Christine definitely had their ups and downs in their 25 years of marriage, after tying the knot in March of 1994. Together, they welcomed six children: Aspyn, Mykelti, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, Truely, and Paedon Brown. Since the age of 19, Christine knew that she wanted to take part in the polygamist lifestyle. Once, during an early season of Sister Wives, she told the cameras, “They actually say if you’re having problems, like, when you have two wives … marry a third because they’ll even it out.” Sadly, this wasn’t the case for Christine, who struggled with jealousy over Robyn. The premiere of the TLC show in 2010 seemed to show the couple at their happiest, while Christine was pregnant with their last child.

While the couple had some decent times during their years together, such as their lighthearted road trip adventures, most of their interactions seem to feature Christine fighting the green-eyed monster, or Kody running off to do what he wanted. Fans have noticed that in most of the marriages, Kody makes the final call when it comes to all decisions, and his wives don’t always appreciate that. Christine may miss Kody’s large family gatherings and support, but she is surely going to be better off without him in the long run.

Now, Christine has now moved back to Utah, where she is surrounded by her extended family members, who give her love and assistance. The mother of six has been thriving, as she is spending quality time by herself and with her children. While fans aren’t sure what is going to happen in the future, most believe that Christine will not be changing her mind. She will hopefully continue moving on with her new life.
