One Elder Scrolls: Skyrim fan came upon a steel replica of one of the game’s high-level weapons in real life, possibly causing them to wonder if they were hallucinating after playing too much Skyrim. Many gamers have spent a lot of time in the Elder Scrolls fantasy world of Tamriel across the series’ long history of titles or by playing one of the many editions of Skyrim that fans have received over the years. The next game in the franchise, Elder Scrolls 6, joins the ranks of Grand Theft Auto 6 and Half-Life 3 as one of the most anticipated titles in the history of gaming.

While Bethesda studios crafts its next game, fans have been continuously enjoying everything Skyrim offers. Over the game’s many iterations, players have created their own characters and enjoyed thousands of hours of gameplay thanks to the title’s wide variety of quests, adventures, and treasure. Additional content continues to get added to both the PC and newer console versions of the game thanks to Skyrim mods adding new quests, weapons, and improvements. One of the game’s high-level weapons may be difficult to find in Skyrim without leveling up, but one lucky fan was able to find a Daedric Dagger in real life.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

After a small adventure to an antique store, Reddit user Ninemarrow was rewarded with a steel forged replica of a Daedric Dagger. It has yet to be revealed how many draugr or skeletons had to be defeated in order to claim such a high-level prize. The short video below highlights the dagger replica’s high quality, including the serrated blade, a tiny ax-looking hilt, and fake blood adding a remarkable level of detail to the replica. Usually, such a blade is reserved for players who have leveled up past level 46 in Skyrim or who have unlocked a high-level Smithing perk.

Countless Skyrim fans have created replicas and imaginative cosplays for many of the weapons and characters included in the popular series. Elder Scrolls fans have always shown a high level of passion for the franchise, and the quality of the replica dagger seen in the video above shows what one fan’s passion and time are capable of. After more than ten years since its original release, Skyrim still has the power to capture the imagination of many gamers around the world.

Creating cosplay costumes, replica weapons, and mods are all ways that Elder Scrolls fans have expressed their passion for the series. Once the currently untitled Elder Scrolls 6 finally releases, it will not be surprising to see a new generation of artists and fans grow inspired by whatever Bethesda Studios is cooking up for their next Elder Scrolls game. Although the developer is currently hard at work on a vast space-faring RPG adventure titled Starfield, the passion Elder Scrolls: Skyrim has created will undoubtedly last until the next game in the franchise likely inspires millions more.
