Initially released in November 2019 on the Creation Club, Saints and Seducers is a new DLC for Skyrim Special Edition that all Elder Scrolls V owners are able to access for free thanks to the free update included with Skyrim Anniversary Edition’s release. The plot of Saints and Seducers is split into two main quests revolving around the machinations of a demented mage who wishes to bring the madness of the Shivering Isles into Tamriel.

Saints and Seducers is undoubtedly one of Skyrim’s best Creation Club mods, adding a massive amount of content, including new enemies, a dungeon, pets, weapons, armor, and more. The storyline also features several Miscellaneous Quests with a central theme of the Shivering Isles. While the main quests should take less than a few hours to complete, newcomers and returning Skyrim players alike will find many more hours of enjoyment in the extra content packed into the DLC. To get started on Saints and Seducers, players must find and speak to a member of a Khajiit Caravan in Skyrim.

Skyrim players can initiate Saints and Seducers by speaking to Ri’saad, the vendor for the Khajiit Caravan that travels between Whiterun and Markarth. While it is possible to encounter this merchant randomly along the roads throughout the world, the best approach to locate his position would be to use the “Wait” mechanic in front of the gates of Whiterun. Once Ri’saad appears with his comrades, players must talk to him and choose the new dialogue option, “I’ve heard you’ve been running into trouble along the road.” He will give the player a letter, which will begin “Balance of Power,” the first primary quest of Saints and Seducers.

Things to Do After Starting Saints and Seducers in Skyrim

While Skyrim’s Saints and Seducers story can be enjoyed without the side content, players looking to thoroughly engage with everything the DLC has to offer shouldn’t miss two particular features added in the update. First, they’ll need to be sure to complete the optional quest, “Golden and Dark Smithing,” to unlock the ability to forge unique Golden and Dark equipment. Players can accept this quest by slaying the Saints Bandit Leader and taking the “Notes on the Blacksmith” from his corpse.

Another feature players may miss is the new Elytra Nymph pet in Skyrim Special Edition. After looting the keys from the chests in the first Saints camp and Seducers bandit camp, players can open the cages that imprison a friendly Manic Elytra Nymph and Demented Elytra Nymph. These two pets can accompany the player on their journey through the Saints and Seducers campaign, adding to the immersive feel of the Shivering Isles.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
