sMothered: What We Know About Lauren & Her Wife Laura Leigh

They celebrated their engagement on their one-year anniversary with family and friends, but they waited until February 2018 to officially tie the knot with a ceremony and a reception. 

The sMothered couple has spent the last few years enjoying their marriage, but they are now ready to make an addition to their family. For some time now, Lauren has been trying to conceive with the help of donors and fertility treatments. As seen on sMothered, she even had her mother Lisa Kimball help her with an at-home insemination procedure. Lisa’s involvement in this ongoing process has caused some tension between Lauren and Laura Leigh, but they are still trying hard to fulfill their dreams of being parents. Lauren’s bond with Lisa sometimes gets in the way of her marriage with Laura Leigh, which is often shown on sMothered.

Laura has mentioned that she feels like a third wheel in her own marriage, and even jokes that she “got married in a polygamy relationship” because she has to share her wife with Lisa.
