Ahead of the arrival of South Park season 25, a 30-piece orchestra performs a rendition of “Kyle’s Mom.” The derogatory song was featured in the season 1 episode, “Mr. Hankey, the Christmas Poo,” after Eric Cartman (Trey Parker) was agitated at Kyle’s mom (Mona Marshall) for ruining Christmas. The polka beat song was last played in the 1999 film, South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut, containing more profanity than the original song, along with a verse of the song being sung in different languages.

To promote the upcoming season of South Park, South Park Studios releases an orchestral version of “Kyle’s Mom.” While the 30-piece orchestra was performing the titular song, Kyle (Matt Stone) is visibly seen upset through his facial expressions, while the others are clapping to the rhythm of the beat and cheering for the song. At the end of the performance, Kyle retains the same uneasy composure with his arms crossed over him, while Cartman is seen clapping rapidly in awe of his song. Watch the full clip below:

Despite the satirical and comedic song, the performers maintained a professional poise while singing, with many fans advocating for an orchestral soundtrack album with all their classics. The iconic show was renewed by Comedy Central last year under a new deal to run until season 30, along with 14 specials on Paramount+. Two of the specials have already been released, South Park: Post COVID and South Park: Post COVID: The Return of COVID. For now, fans can tune into the 25th season of South Park when it premieres on February 2 on Comedy Central.
