Craig Conover is thrilled to announce he has opened his own law firm under his name. The Southern Charm star was often attacked for lying about his results on the State Bar exam, but now he can finally shut down all his haters once and for all.

The Delaware native has traveled some rough seas and even lost a girlfriend due to his fear of committing to taking the South Carolina Bar exam. The charmer’s law career, or lack thereof, played out for all to see during the show’s first three seasons. Viewers watched as he attended classes at the Charleston School of Law and believed he was on track to pass the exam at the end of the season. But in 2016, his castmates led by Shep Rose called his motives into question. Conover admitted that he never took the test during the reunion since he failed to submit his thesis.

No one is objecting to Conover’s new venture since he can finally say he is a lawyer after years of lying. The reality star took to Instagram to share his exciting news saying, it had been a long time coming, but it is a day he had been “looking forward to.” He also confirmed that he took the exam in 2017 and passed.

Conover wore a grey sweater with one blue painted fingernail in his video as he announced his big news saying, “My dream was to always start a law firm that could help people.” The Bravo personality’s goal is to concentrate on people who are in need and can’t access the legal system. He also noted that he now has the time to concentrate on his “original passion.”

Conover is sitting pretty not only due to his love of law but his pillow empire, which has done very well on HSN. The Sewing Down South founder revealed to Southern Charm fans he will still make pillows but was in love with his new office, which boasted offices, a conference room, and a front desk. The Craig Conover Law Firm is officially open, and you know it’s legit since it has its own Instagram page. Well done, Craig, Elle Woods would be proud!
