Southern Charm season 7 has some notable absences. In addition to Cameran Eubanks and Naomie Olindo, Chelsea Meissner also bowed out from returning for another season. The Charleston resident confirmed her exit from the Bravo series in May 2020, at the same time as Naomie and soon after original cast member Cameran.

All three appeared to be done with the show once Kathryn Dennis began spreading rumors about Cameran’s marriage. A source told People that the close friends were “just tired of the reality tv drama and don’t want to live their lives this way.” Just because the hairstylist left the show, however, doesn’t mean she is out of the spotlight. Fans are still invested in her private life, turning to social media instead of television for updates. Especially as a certain ex has gotten strange publicity lately.

Southern Charm actually wasn’t Chelsea’s first reality show. She also competed on season 24 of Survivor, and was the second runner-up. Her stint on the mega popular series showcased her athleticism and smarts. That competition show is likely more of her speed, relying more on skills and strategizing than nasty rumors and shouting matches at parties. In fact, Chelsea was mostly brought into the drama unwillingly, and clearly tried to avoid it as much as possible. While some viewers found this boring, others warmed up to her quickly, and she became a favorite to many fans.

When she first joined in season 3, the down-to-earth beauty was pursued by both Austen Kroll and Shep Rose. Though she ultimately chose Austen, they split due to different goals in life. After the break up, Chelsea seemed pretty settled with new boyfriend Nick Dana. Though some wished for her to reunite with her co star, pro sailor Nick shared more of her interests. Her ex, on the other hand, found himself in a very rocky relationship with Madison LeCroy. That couple fought constantly, and Austen’s continued friendship and chemistry with his previous girlfriend caused additional tension. Their breakup has been even messier, somehow roping in Chelsea once again. She was brought up on Watch What Happens Live when Austen called her an “angel” whilst insulting Madison. Chelsea’s kept her private life much more quiet, but that hasn’t stopped people from speculating. Many think her social media activity indicates that she split up with Nick. The last time she seemed to reference him was a year ago, in a January 2020 Instagram post. Cameran, meanwhile, makes frequent appearances on her social media, as the two have remained very close.

In addition to Austen and Madison’s fallout, which has involved Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler, Kathryn’s antics and feud with Leva Bonaparte have made for a rough season. If Chelsea really was done with the drama, she’s surely relieved to be off now.
