The Charleston-based reality show known as Southern Charm may be renowned for its drama and rumors, but it’s also known for the fashions that the cast members wear throughout the seasons. Many of these fashionable outfits come from Gwynn’s Charleston, which is co-owned by Madison Simon. Madison has always been a person who rises above most of the Southern Charm mayhem. She’s dressed many of the cast members, but there is more to learn about her.

A few of the cast members have even worked at Gwynn’s, before the show and after. One notable cast member is Kathryn Dennis, who started working with Gwynn’s as a social media presence. She would wear different designers and post the pictures on her Kathryn Dennis Instagram. This was a win-win arrangement for Kathryn and the store. However, Kathryn Dennis’s employment with Gwynn’s was cut short on the latest episode of Southern Charm season 7. Madison opted to fire Kathryn when it was revealed that she texted a monkey emoji and wrote highly inflammatory things as the Black Lives Matter gained momentum last summer.

Madison is a consummate professional and wastes no time with people who might tarnish the Gwynn’s brand. She is the third generation of her family to run the luxury store. She currently co-owns Gwynn’s with her father, Marshall. The store is named after her grandmother and has been serving Charleston for over fifty years. It is one of the only stores in South Carolina that carries high fashion clothing and accessories from the likes of Gucci and Jimmy Choo. Check out this inside look at Gwynn’s below:

Madison is of Lebanese descent but was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. She considers Charleston to be her home. She graduated from Ole Miss in 2010 before starting her career at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City. After a successful run with the department store, she returned home to help run Gwynn’s with her father. Madison was thirty years old as of 2018 and is rated as one of Charleston’s best and brightest under thirty-five.

No matter what happens on Southern Charm season 7, Madison Simon will be on the right side of history. She rises above the drama and supports movements and actions she believes in, including the removal of the statue of John C. Calhoun from Charleston. Madison is a credit to the city and her store Gwynn’s is one of the only places the crew of Southern Charm can find the fashions they love to strut in during every episode.
