Her first role was the On Premise Wine Sales Rep for the Dynasty Division. She held that position for almost a year before getting promoted to Field Sales Manager of the Dynasty Division. Then, she was promoted again and became  Gallo Spirit Brand Manager. She held that job for more than a year. Next, she was promoted to Business Manager of the Palmetto Spirit Division and had that job for about nine months. Another promotion led to her job as Area Manager of the On Premise Wine Division, and she stayed in that position for over two years before officially leaving the company. Before working for Breakthru Beverage South Carolina, Danni had another job, working in the legal department for a clinical research company.

After leaving her job in the wine and spirits industry, Danni Baird started to pursue her career as an artist. Plus, Danni was making a little extra cash on the side thanks to her recurring role on Southern Charm. According to BravoTV, Danni has been pursuing her full-time career as an artist since at least 2018. Since she has been spending so much time making art, Danni has been showing off some of her work to her Instagram followers. Most of her work includes watercolor and colored pencil gemstone prints, which are displayed on her website, Danni Baird Designs. Her friends from the show have supported her work in the past, including former castmate, Naomi Olindo.
