A new Spider-Man cosplay shows a fan suited up in Tom Holland’s red and black suit while holding a glowing Green Goblin Pumpkin Bomb. The hype for Spider-Man: No Way Home is reaching an all-time as its premiere nears. Given that, one fan decided to bring wall-crawler to life with a fun and interesting twist.

With only less than two months to go before it hits theaters, fans are eagerly anticipating the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home‘s second trailer. Its predecessor did a great job laying out its narrative including how it ties to Spider-Man: Far From Home and how Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) factors into it. Despite this, there are still several pressing questions that need answers. That includes the appearance of Pumpkin Bombs during one of the blockbuster’s action sequences. For context. they’re first spotted in live-action on Sam Raimi’s original Spider-Man film as part of Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin’s arsenal of weapons. Given this, many are curious why they suddenly make an appearance in the MCU.

Inspired by this query, Reddit user with the handle u/batman390 suited up as Holland’s Spider-Man who’s holding one of the glowing Pumpkin Bombs. In the video, it appears as if Peter Parker is inspecting the grenade while it continues to light up. Bonus point for the costume’s mechanical eyes. Check out the clip below:

The appearance of the Pumpkin Bomb in the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer could be an indication that Dafoe’s Green Goblin will indeed be in the film. This has been rumored for a while now, and when the actor was asked about it, he was coy about the matter. For what it’s worth, the appearance of Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock from Spider-Man 2 establishes the idea that villains from previous Spider-Man franchises can appear in the threequel. After all, its narrative deals with the multiverse anyway. This also ties into persistent speculations that both Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire will indeed be in the project. Admittedly, the idea is fun to ponder on, but with both Marvel Studios and Sony mum about the matter, it’s best not to be too invested in this possibility as it might still not come to fruition.

All that being said, assuming that all of these rumors turn out to be true and Spider-Man: No Way Homeis indeed a culmination of all live-action adaptations of the character thus far, it’s curious if marketing will confirm this or not. As mentioned, a second trailer is imminent and could release sooner rather than later. But considering the massive hype that the blockbuster is already generating, Marvel Studios and Sony don’t really have to try hard to market the project. Fans will still go to theaters in droves when it releases in December.
