Happy Hogan has no patience for Peter and MJ’s sappiness in a new promo for Spider-Man: No Way Home. As of Monday, tickets are on sale for No Way Home, and excitement is starting to reach a fever pitch. The final MCU movie of 2021 also promises to be the year’s biggest, as it finds Spider-Man (Tom Holland) confronting a multiversal crisis. After a spell from Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) goes awry, Spider-Man must battle a slew of villains from alternate universes. Said universes happen to be past Spidey franchises, meaning audiences will once again see familiar faces like Doc Ock (Alfred Molina) and Electro (Jamie Foxx).

Indeed, much of the buzz surrounding No Way Home has involved the promise of seeing past Spider-Man actors. Many online are preoccupied with the potential inclusion of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, but there will still be plenty of returning cast members from Holland’s era. Jacob Batalon, Zendaya, and Marisa Tomei all have roles in Spider-Man: No Way Home, as well as one person who has been around since the start of the MCU itself: Jon Favreau. With No Way Home, Favreau returns for his seventh onscreen appearance as Happy Hogan.

A promo for Spider-Man: No Way Home reveals a new peek at Happy, and he is, expectedly, irritated with Peter. As has been revealed in a few other trailers for the movie, there’s a scene where Peter and MJ share a sweet moment on the phone. The new promo (via Binge Watch This) shows there’s more to it: Happy is in the same room as Peter, and he isn’t as enamored with the teen’s late night call with his girlfriend. Check it out down below.

Happy has been a key part of the MCU’s Spider-Man movies, and it’s nice to see he’ll still be his usual snarky self in No Way Home. He’s only been glimpsed briefly in the other Spider-Man: No Way Home trailers, so much of his role remains a mystery. However, based on this new promo, it looks like Happy will help Peter keep a low profile following the devastating revelation of his identity. He might grumble about it the whole time, but Happy is always there for Peter when needed.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is being hyped as the end of an era, but Sony also reportedly has hopes for another trilogy. Should there be more movies on the way for Holland’s iteration of the hero, one can hope that his supporting cast will return as well. That includes those like Happy and MJ, though their availability will of course depend on the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Luckily, there are only a few weeks to go before the movie arrives, so the wait for answers is almost over.
