Spider-Man fans will be able to swing through New York City wearing new suits from the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home film, coming to Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PS5. Marvel’s Spider-Man by Insomniac Games has well over 30 suits to wear. Suit designs come from various adventures of the wall-crawler throughout his comics, television, and cinema history. Insomniac also includes original suit designs, such as the Advanced Suit.

Since its launch in 2018, Insomniac has continued to add new suits to the game for free. These include the heavily requested suit from the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy and the Amazing Suit from The Amazing Spider-Man movie. Insomniac also added suits like the Homecoming and Iron Spider suits from the latest iteration of Spider-Man films around the release time of the movies.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

In a tweet by Insomniac Games official Twitter, a new trailer for the Ultimate Edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales shows off two new suits from Spider-Man: No Way Home coming to Spider-Man Remastered. The two suits have appeared in multiple toys and trailers for No Way Home and join the Far From Home and Homecoming suits. Neither the new black and gold or red and gold suit have a name. However, the red and gold suit seems to be an evolution of the Upgraded Suit in Spider-Man: Far From Home with upgrades from the Iron Spider Suit. An additional red and gold suit will appear in the film called the Integrated Suit, according to toy descriptions featuring it. The Integrated Suit may be infused with the magical power of Doctor Strange, which could mean a new suit power in the game if added at some point.

Insomniac said in the tweet that both of the new suits are only available on Spider-Man Remastered for PS5. PS4 players won’t be able to use the new suits without upgrading to the next-gen version, which upset some fans online. Spider-Man Remastered is only available through the Ultimate Edition of Spider-Man: Miles Morales for an additional $20. Sony has had a tumultuous response regarding its policies for next-gen upgrades in recent months, specifically the surcharge for the Horizon Forbidden West upgrade despite being a cross-gen title.

Sony currently has many other Spider-Man projects coming over the foreseeable future, with the potential for more suits to join Insomniac’s Spider-Man series. Miles Morales’s next adventures in the Spiderverse in Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse (Part One) and any other new suits appearing in No Way Home could add suits to not only the games Insomniac already released but to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 as well. With a release window in 2023, it would make sense that it would have suits from the films and other sources ready for Peter and Miles’ next adventure on PlayStation.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is available on PS5 and Spider-Man: Miles Morales is available on PS4 and PS5.
