The Star Wars saga contains some of the most iconic quotes in pop culture. The films and TV shows are home to many characters, including Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker, with a handful of memorable lines synonymous with their characters. Some of the most famous quotes in the saga do not belong to one person but rather multiple who have said it over the years.

This could be one character repeating a line of a character from years before or numerous characters throughout the shows and movies uttering a line. Either way, the franchise is full of quotes spoken by more than one character.

Obi-Wan’s Loose Relationship With The Truth

“…Point Of View…”

The phrase “point of view” is most famously used by Obi-Wan when he admits to Luke that Vader is, in fact, his father. However, quotes regarding specific or differing points of view pop up multiple times in the Skywalker saga.

As well as Obi-Wan’s use in Return Of The Jedi, Anakin famously uses it in Revenge of the Sith when he deems the Jedi evil (from his point of view). In that same film, before Anakin’s fall, Palpatine tells the young Skywalker that “Good is a point of view” and that “The Jedi point of view is not the only valid one.”

Unwavering Faith

“There Is Good In Him.”

An important lesson that Star Wars portrays to audiences is that there are some people who can be redeemed. The “There is good in him” line pops up a couple of times in some form or another.

Luke famously says this quote, regarding his father, to Obi-Wan, and his faith in Vader helped make Luke one of the most admirable heroes in pop culture. In the prequels, Padmé says this, again to Obi-Wan, as she gives birth to the twins before her death regarding Anakin. The line does not appear in the sequel trilogy, but the themes behind it do as Rey says that Kylo can be saved, telling Luke that “there is conflict in him.” It is a recurring line full of importance, key in the story of Anakin and one that helps portray the heroics of characters like Luke.

An Often Laughed At One-Word Quote

A Long “No!”

Being a fantasy space opera means that, from time to time, Star Wars will have its cringeworthy and memed moments that leave fans either embarrassed or laughing. The scenes involving the long “No!” is one of them.

The two most famous examples of this are from Vader when he first gets put into the iconic suit and Luke when he finds out that Vader is his father. The two moments have been lambasted separately by audiences everywhere, and, as such, “No!” has become one of the most infamous short-lines in the franchise.

The Sad Quote From Clones Under Control Of Their Chips

“Good Soldiers Follow Orders.”

“Good soldiers follow orders” has become a warning of such to audiences that the inhibitor chip in the brains of clones has been activated, and they will seek out Jedi to kill and be under the control of the Empire.

It is a harrowing line spoken by Tup when his chip malfunctions, and then Crosshair and Wrecker in The Bad Batch when his activates. For fans of the clones, this line will always be incredibly saddening. They are individuals, they have been shown as such, but this quote takes that away from them and groups them into nameless pawns of the Empire (playing into their immense tragedy).

An Insult The Rebels Are Proud Of

“Rebel Scum.”

Imperial Officer Commander Renz is one of the most famous yet unknown characters in Star Wars. He is the Imperial Officer who confronts Han and the rebels, calling them “Rebel scum” in Return of the Jedi.

Decades later in The Last Jedi, this quote would get repeated by General Armitage Hux, as well as Finn, who, rather than take it as an insult, takes pride in it. Not content with Phasma’s scorn of “scum,” it is Finn who deems himself “rebel scum,” a sign that he knows his path belongs with the Resistance, fighting evil and tyranny.

Anakin’s Memed Quote From The Battle Of Coruscant

“This Is Where The Fun Begins.”

Throughout the prequel trilogy, Anakin Skywalker has a slew of iconic quotes that have become either hugely memed or are just great lines from the character. This one is a bit of both, and many forget it came in the original trilogy first.

Han Solo first spoke the line as he piloted the Falcon. In their cockiness and charisma, there are definite similarities between Han and Anakin when they are flying a ship, and repeating a line like this proves that while also giving the audience a good chuckle.

Chirrut’s Iconic Rogue One Line

“I Am One With The Force, and The Force Is With Me.”

Rogue One is full of great characters, including Chirrut Îmwe, who has perhaps the most iconic line in the film, “I am one with the Force, and the Force is with me.” Somewhat unexpectedly, this quote crops up again in the seventh season of The Clone Wars.

While Ahsoka attempts to use the Force to locate Rex’s inhibitor chip, she utters these words, using them to focus just like Chirrut does throughout Rogue One. The fact that these two characters have a massive respect for the Force and a desire to do good (despite not being members of the Jedi Order when they utter this line, that is) shows how important it is to have a strong faith and belief in something.

Ahsoka’s Powerful Declaration

“I’m No Jedi.”

Some quotes in Star Wars become synonymous with certain characters, like Ahsoka, whose “I’m no Jedi” has been ingrained in the mind of viewers for years. However, some may not realize that this quote got said long before Rebels existed.

During the Zygerrian slavery arc in The Clone Wars, Rex rather proudly announces that he is no Jedi before killing an enslaver who taunted Kenobi. It is pretty sweet that the two share this quote. Not only are they one of the best duos in The Clone Wars but they are also one of the best friendships in Star Wars, connected by this quote and an immense amount of respect, love, and struggle.

The Mainstay Quote

“I’ve Got A Bad Feeling About That.”

One of the most iconic quotes in Star Wars is one that, initially, seemed pretty throwaway. However, no one would have believed that it would become so important until it started appearing in every single Star Wars film.

First uttered by Luke Skywalker, “I have a bad feeling about this” pops up in nearly every Star Wars movie/tv show in some shape or form. It is uttered by a slew of characters, from Obi-Wan, Luke, Han, K-2SO to Anakin and several battle droids. It is a quote that fans always love noticing and giving a slight smile at.

The Typical Star Wars Line

“May The Force Be With You.”

While “I have a bad feeling about this” is a quote that the Star Wars fandom associate with the franchise, “May the Force be with you” is THE Star Wars quote that pretty much everyone in the world recognizes.

The structure of the sentence sometimes changes, but the message remains. It is spoken by most of the franchise’s best characters and is a message that can be full of hope, dread, sadness, or happiness, depending on the context in which it gets uttered. It is not just a quote used time and time again by characters, but one that fans will vehemently use with one another in celebration and even jest to the saga.
