As the weapon of choice for the legendary Jedi, this blade that was introduced in the debut Star Wars film has now become one of the most beloved weapons in all of pop culture history.

Every child (and pretty much every adult) alive has probably fantasized about what it would be like to own a real lightsaber, and most people likely know which color lightsaber they would like to have. But lightsabers colors are meant to represent many different and specific traits or ideologies. So what color lightsaber would you have, based on your zodiac sign?

12 Aries – Red

Although red lightsabers are obviously associated with bad guys, the reality is that the Sith are just willing to use their more aggressive emotions as fuel for their power.

And as arguably the most aggressive sign in the zodiac, it should come as no surprise that they would willingly use negative emotions as fuel.

11 Taurus – Blue

Blue lightsabers are normally used by Jedi Guardians, Jedi who are experts in combat and dueling.

Taurus is an earth sign, and is therefore more grounded in reality than most signs. It would make sense for them to focus on the more physical aspects of Force powers, and the peaceful blue lightsaber is a perfect match for them.

10 Gemini – Yellow

Although yellow is one of the rarest lightsaber colors, it signifies a very specific type of power. Yellow sabers are used by Jedi Sentinels, a type of Jedi that specialized in diverse and practical knowledge.

Geminis are amazing thinkers who love to explore everything they can, so a yellow lightsaber represents their personality well.

9 Cancer – Green

Cancers are known for possibly being the most emotional sign in the zodiac, and they are extremely in touch with their own feelings and the feelings of others.

Green lightsabers are typically used by Jedi Consulars, the kinds of Jedi who are most in touch with the Force and tend to act instinctively more than leaning into their training.

8 Leo – Black

The darksaber is the rarest saber in Jedi history, and it has a lot of meaning behind it. It was created by Tarre Vizsla, the first Mandalorian to become a Jedi.

Of course, the Mandalorians are legendary for their warrior spirit, so a sign as powerful and strong as the Leo is an ideal match for a darksaber.

Virgos are well known for their pure hearts and souls, so what color lightsaber would suit them better than a white lightsaber?

The kyber crystals that give lightsabers their power are actually naturally clear, and only take on a color as a result of their user, so a white crystal is really the purest form of lightsaber.

The darksaber is a pretty fierce symbol for a zodiac sign that isn’t known for it’s fierceness, but it’s a great weapon for the Libra for one obvious reason.

Scorpios are considered to be one of the most intimidating and darkest signs of the zodiac, so it’s only natural that they’d wield a red lightsaber.

However, Scorpios are also well known for letting their needs for vengeance fuel them, so their willingness to give in to their darker desires makes a Sith weapon an obvious choice for them.
