This week, the tremendously popular farming simulation game, Stardew Valley’s table-top version, will be back in stock. Stardew Valley was released back in 2016 on Steam and has been a smash hit ever since. The board game version of Stardew Valley was initially announced in February of 2021 and since then has been sold out. The table-top version of the game includes everything from the original video game: villagers, crops, animals, fishing, foraging, mining, and more.

Stardew Valley creator ConcernedApe has announced that the table-top version of the farming simulator will return, and there will be some improvements. The Mines portion of the game has been adjusted. ConcernedApe explains that the difficulty has not been changed; instead, players will be rewarded more accurately and have a lesser chance of leaving the Mines empty-handed. The museum grants a heart as a reward for donating to it (this change will be represented in the rules and on the board). Additionally, minor adjustments have been made to the cards and rules to clear up any players’ questions they had in the past.

The Stardew Valley board game will be available through Shopify on Wednesday, November 3rd, starting at noon PST. However, ConcernedApe made it appointed to mention that shipping and handling might not be complete in time for the holiday season. This is due to the current world events and that some delays for shipping may be out of their control. Some copies of the board game will be available in local stores across Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the EU.
