The 2021 Summer Game Fest: Kickoff Live! streaming event included several world premiere game trailers and announcements. Hosted by The Game Awards’ Geoff Keighley, Summer Game Fest began as a sort of E3 replacement last year, but this year’s kickoff comes a few days before the official E3 2021 begins.

Keighley promised a 90-minute showcase of reveals on both new games and existing titles. Much rumor and speculation before the show pointed to an Elden Ring reveal at Summer Game Fest, along with updates on Among Us and more.

Keighley started the show with the announcement of Borderlands developer Gearbox Software’s new game, Tiny Tina’s Wonderands. The trailer showcased a magical, medieval world full of dragons and guns in Borderlands‘ signature cell-shaded style and announced several celebrity voice actors, including Andy Samburg and Wanda Sykes. The game will include spellcasting and character customization in a quest to defeat the “Dragon Lord.”
