Summer House: How Paige’s Issues With Perry Fueled Attraction to Carl

Six months ago, Paige DeSorbo from Summer House broke up with her ex-boyfriend Perry Rahbar, and that split may be fueling her crush on Carl Radke. Fans of the show remember her past in-house fling with housemate Carl. Now, it looks like the duo may hook up again. Paige’s crush has resurfaced, so anything can happen.

Paige is sharing the final days of her romance with Perry on Summer House season 5. The two dated for two years before calling it quits. Since their breakup last summer, Perry has relocated to Miami and Paige has continued her career in entertainment and fashion in NYC. Her friend and Giggly Squad podcast co-host Hannah Berner recently got engaged to Des Bishop. Paige appears open to the idea of settling down again. With Carl being the only eligible bachelor in the house, aside from Luke Gulbranson, Paige is open to the idea of dating Carl.

During a recent appearance on the Comments By Bravo podcast, Paige spoke candidly about her breakup. “It was really hard for me to watch this season knowing we weren’t together,” Paige revealed. “I felt really guilty that I wasn’t strong enough to end it before I went into the house,” she explained. Viewers watched the former couple struggle due to Paige being in the house filming and Perry not wanting to be featured on the show. While Paige watched her housemates cuddle up with their love interests, she felt alone. “It put him through a lot of unnecessary exposure and insight into our relationship which he really didn’t want, which is why he’s never on the show,” Paige admitted.

She explained how understanding she was about Perry’s reluctance to join the show, but it’s still a career she chose. “I just felt really torn and I started to really resent our relationship,” she confessed. “I felt like I was being held back.” As a result, the pair parted ways last October. Now, Paige is opening up about her resurfaced crush on Carl Radke, whose net worth is estimated to be $500,000. “Looking at Carl and the way the sun was hitting him, I was like, ‘Oh my God’,” she said “He’s a big man. He’s, like, 6’5” and, like, big. I was like, ‘Oh my god you could literally throw me into the ocean and I would say thank you.’”

However, the young reality star wants to give herself more time before settling down again. “I really wanna stay single for a year,” she shared. “I’ve definitely been dating–I’ve gone out with a whole range of people. I feel like it’s really gonna take someone to, like, sweep me on my feet that I’ll change all of my plans for this human.” She’s enjoying newfound freedom while adulting in NYC, and she’s finding all the happiness she needs in herself. “For the first time in my life I feel like I don’t have to be with someone,” she added. “I’m really just enjoying being by myself.” Fans are glad that the Summer House star, who has the zodiac sign Scorpio, is feeling empowered and content.
