Summer House: Kristin Cavallari Denies Hooking Up With Craig Conover

Kristin Cavallari denies Summer House star Craig Conover’s claim the two hooked up. As Lindsay Hubbard aptly put it during a season 6 episode of the show, things are getting messy between Paige DeSorbo and her co-star Craig Conover. However, it’s not because of her crush on Andrea Denver. Instead, in a surprise twist, it turns out that Kristin and Craig might have hooked up, much to Paige’s chagrin.

Rumors started circulating in June and July 2021 that Kristin was having a relationship with none other than Craig’s BFF, Austen Kroll, thanks to a slew of pictures of them posted to Instagram. In July, Kristin denied there was a love triangle or any romance at all between her and the guys, but it didn’t stop her followers from scrutinizing every pose and caption. What no one knew at the time was that it was in fact a little more complicated than it looked, given that Craig and Paige had started seeing each other around the same time, following his May 2021 breakup with his girlfriend. Craig and Austen, meanwhile, came to film Summer House in mid-July, which is when viewers heard Craig admit to Paige that he had indeed hooked up with Kristin (as he says, did Austen). However, Kristin isn’t having it.

Although Craig openly admits on camera he hooked up with Kristin, the Very Cavallari star denies it all. A source told Us Weekly, “He’s making it up — it’s not true. They never hooked up.” The source added that Craig is seemingly trying to just use Kristin’s name for clout and a Summer House storyline. Still, there doesn’t seem to be any beef between him and Kristin, as the source added that she’s not watching the show at all and doesn’t really care about any of it, so don’t expect her to randomly show up at a pool party anytime soon. Then again, Paige could always appear on Southern Charm season 8, given the timing of filming, so maybe viewers will get to see the other side of these rumors play out.

In early October, Paige and Craig announced they were officially dating, so whatever went down between Craig and Kristin is all in the past anyway. The same can be said of Paige’s relationship with Andrea, whom she was also casually dating around the same time she and Craig likely first started hanging out.

Even though everyone knows Paige and Craig eventually work things out, the whole ordeal is the stuff that Bravo dreams are made of. Between Winter House, Southern Charm, and Summer House, viewers are getting an inside look at how the relationship between Paige and Craig really started and got going, all on camera. Now, maybe someone should introduce Kristin and Andrea, as it appears they got the short end of the stick in their respective love triangles.
