Paige DeSorbo from Summer House reveals why she choose Southern Charm’s Craig Conover over her costar Andrea Denver to pursue a relationship with. During the new Bravo series Winter House, viewers were introduced to newbie Andrea, an Italian native, who was living in New York City. He and Paige immediately hit it off and started to get to know each other. When Paige initially entered the house, she was hoping to connect with Craig more; however, he had a girlfriend at the time.

Once the group finished filming the Bravo series, Craig broke up with his girlfriend and started to pursue Paige. After many months of speculation, Paige confirmed her relationship with Craig in October 2021. Since then, the pair have become the most talked-about Bravo couple, with many fans rooting for their relationship. Now that Summer House season 6 has started to air, viewers will get to see Paige and Craig’s relationship unfold.

In a recent interview with Page Six, the 29-year-old opened up about pursuing a relationship with Craig over Andrea. “Craig and I started hanging out, and I just felt so much more of a pull to him than I did to anyone else I was talking to at the time,” Paige exclusively told the news outlet. The reality star said her decision to not pursue Andrea anymore had nothing to with him as a person, as she thinks he is “amazing” and is “definitely stuck with [her] as a friend for a while.” At the time, Paige realized that she didn’t want to get into a relationship unless she was “100 percent in it.” Once Craig, who’s happy for Madison LeCroy’s engagement, was single again, the fashion influencer was definitely leaning towards Craig more as she’s had a crush on him for several years.

The news outlet broke the news that Paige and Craig were official after months of speculation. However, Paige says she and her Southern gentleman plan on taking their relationship slow. The New York native isn’t about making any hasty decision in the first few months of dating, and would rather move at a pace they both feel comfortable. Paige knows she and Craig are on the same page in their relationship and have the same future goals. “I’m not worried about, you know, big things that we would disagree on,” Paige, who denied hooking up with Luke Gulbranson, confessed. “But I think [for] anyone to, like, move or get engaged before, like, a year of dating would just be crazy — and so not my vibe.” The new couple is happy with where they are in their relationship as they both see themselves together for the long haul.

Paige saw more of a future with Craig than she did with Andrea. While she was attracted to Andrea and thought he was a wonderful person, Paige knew they ultimately would last. As for Craig, he is someone she’s had her eye on for a while and couldn’t pass up a chance to give their relationship a try.
