Summer House: Recent Attacks On Hannah & Paige’s Podcast Explained

Hannah Berner and Paige DeSorbo from Summer House are getting dragged, and we’re about to explain why the two women are being attacked by podcast listeners and Summer House fans. Plenty of people who watch the show are upset with the podcast co-hosts due to their controversial podcast banter. Their comments have left a lot of listeners feeling angry, and some of those listeners want them off the air.

Hannah was blasted by the majority of the cast during the reunion, and she is now getting trashed by viewers who use social media. Paige proudly defends her BFF on the show, but Hannah made fans join team Carl Radke after Carl confronted Hannah. He was upset about the drug accusations that she made about him on her podcast. Now, certain viewers definitely consider Hannah a villain. Outside of the Bravo show, Hannah and Paige host their own podcast together. It’s called “Giggly Squad.” The two young NYC socialites dish about their love lives, friendships, and careers. They chat about their everyday lives. When Hannah was called out for some of the mean things she’s said on her show, fans quickly began digging. These sleuthing fans found other insensitive things that the “Giggly Squad” queens have said in the past.

One show fan by the name of @GirlGangz773 took to TikTok to post a video explaining “how dangerous” Hannah’s words are and called her out for not taking accountability for the criticized behavior. “First she laughs about suicide …. now her and Paige laugh about autism?? What’s it’ going to take @bravotv to see Hannah’s words are dangerous and this needs to end,” the social media user captioned the post. In the video, she shared a clip of Hannah (who is officially engaged to Des Bishop) joking about Paige being an autistic person on Instagram Live. While Paige laughed at her friend’s tasteless joke, the others who saw the clip were not impressed. “Wow! Paige needs to separate from her before it’s too late,” one person said.

Others demanded that Bravo take action by removing Hannah from Summer House. One person remarked, “Paige is quickly beginning to follow in her footsteps! Hannah is clearly a horrible person and Bravo needs to part ways with her ASAP Paige needs to take a good look at who she associates with as well.” Another user recalled the pair’s comments about sensitive topics (Hannah was allegedly under investigation by a podcast sponsor and was later dropped by multiple sponsors) and gave them a little advice. “You want to be public figures without consequences and that’s not how the real world works,” they said. “You can say that stuff at a job to colleagues so what makes you think it’s ok to say it to your audience in such a casual manner? The empowerment tone they mask as their feminist mantra is what kills me.”

If they were removed from the show, it wouldn’t be the first time that the Bravo network listened to fans and then took action. One viewer compared them to axed Vanderpump Rules stars Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute. “I remember them saying on a Giggly squad live that Stassi and Kristen should be fired for what they did to Faith. Now what about them?” they asked. Show producers might be paying attention to all the backlash. Hopefully, Hannah from Summer House is considering trying out that accountability thing that everyone keeps talking about.
