Summer House: Why Fans Think Danielle Ratted Kyle Out

In a recent episode of Summer House season 9, Kyle Cooke confided to Danielle Olivera about his relationship problems with fiancé Amanda Batula, so certain fans think that Danielle was wrong to share what he said to their costars. Summer House fans know that there are no secrets in a house shared with 11 people. Relationships can get messy, and when people fight, the whole house knows about it. It was no secret that Kyle and Amanda had their fair share of problems over time. Alas, they got engaged in September 2021 despite their ups and downs.

Summer House season 9 shows Kyle and Amanda preparing for their wedding. After so many obstacles due to COVID-19, the pair finally agreed to have the wedding at Amanda’s parent’s backyard in New Jersey. Unfortunately, planning a wedding, living together, and working with each other on their drink business Loverboy is proving to be stressful for the couple. Kyle has frequently complained that he needs Amanda to step up, while Amanda is still harboring trust issues when it comes to Kyle drinking.

In a recent episode of Summer House, Kyle got fed up with Amanda nagging him all weekend and stormed off outside. Kyle vented to Danielle about how unhappy he was in his relationship with Amanda. He called her “a miserable person to be with” and said that the only thing they had in common was Loverboy. Danielle asked Kyle if he and Amanda were happy and if they even wanted to get married. Kyle’s lackluster response had Danielle worried. Later on, she shared what Kyle had told her to her Summer House friends Paige DeSorbo and Ciara Miller. Paige and Ciara were both shocked by what Kyle said and agreed that they should tell Amanda.

The next day, Paige, Ciara, and Danielle, along with Summer House newcomer Mya Allen, spoke to Amanda about her upcoming wedding. Danielle revealed what Kyle had told her and Paige tearfully told Amanda that she wanted her to be happy. Fans were already concerned about Amanda and Kyle’s contract. Kyle saw the girls having a pow-wow and asked what they were talking about. He seemed taken aback that Danielle shared their private conversation, and ended up having to defend himself to all the Summer House girls. Fans thought that Danielle shouldn’t have blabbed to the other girls about what Kyle told her, as he was just venting to a friend. During his birthday party, Kyle gave a bizarre toast about people butting into his business that had everyone shocked.

Despite the Kyle Cooke intervention, Amanda and Kyle ended up going through with their wedding. They got married on September 25 in a beautiful backyard wedding with their family, friends, and some of their fellow Summer House friends. The couple seems to be doing well so far and has welcomed an addition to their family. In February, Kyle and Amanda shared that they adopted two rescue dogs, Reese and Ryder. Kyle gushed how Amanda was an amazing mom to their fur babies and always knew she’d be an amazing mom. Amanda and Kyle will star in Winter House season 2, along with many of their Summer House castmates.
