The CW has set a date for Superman & Lois season 2 finale. The current season of Superman & Lois has seen the Man of Steel and his family come face to face with Bizzaro, only to reveal a great threat in the form of a cult named the Inverse Method led by Ally Allston who has turned Lois’ sister Lucy against her family. The season has also expanded the role of Lana Lang-Cushing and her family, Jordan’s growing powers, and Jonathan’s relationship with his girlfriend.

While Warner Bros. has been struggling to get another Superman movie off the ground, Superman & Lois has provided audiences with stories focused on the iconic superhero, and the series has been a hit for The CW. The network has already renewed Superman & Lois for season 3, with a premiere date likely in January 2023 like the prior seasons. As the various series are winding down, the network has begun setting premiere dates for the final episodes of the season, and The CW already confirmed that The Flash season 8 finale will air on June 29, 2022.

The CW, via TVLine, has set Superman & Lois season 2 finale for June 21, 2022. While The CW series used to conclude their seasons in May like many traditional networks, COVID-19 delays to the various shows have caused an extension to the seasons to run into the summer. Once the finale airs, Superman & Lois will likely be added to HBO Max for those that want to binge the series.

Episode 10 of season 2 is set to air on April 26, after a three-week hiatus. While there is no word on how many episodes season 2 will be, if it is like season 1, it will consist of five more episodes. With a late June 2022 date set, it implies there will be another hiatus between the episodes. The series star Elizabeth Tulloch revealed the delays between episodes have been because of COVID-19 related delays to filming episodes, so viewers will need to get ready for another gap in the episodes.

With the growing mystery of what exactly the Inverse Method is and the identity of Ally Allston, there is plenty for viewers to look forward to in the final batch of episodes for the season. More twists are on the horizon as showrunner Todd Helberg has revealed by the time Superman & Lois season 2 is over, the series will address some big Arrowverse questions, as the series has rarely, if ever, acknowledged other DC series like The Flash, Supergirl, or Batwoman. While another gap in the episodes is likely frustrating, the season finale will arrive quickly, and then the long wait for season 3 begins.
