Rocksroy Bailey is coming to Survivor 42 with a lot of love for his family and a determination to go all the way. Jeff Probst promised this to be the most dangerous season yet. However, that hasn’t deterred a brand new round of adventurers from taking on the challenge.

Survivor 41 wasn’t everything fans wanted. There were a lot of changes to the structure of the game last year. Not everyone was thrilled with the new aspects of the game that diverged from the status quo.

However, it looks like many of the changes made in season 41 will be back for season 42. Hopefully, the new twists and turns will operate a little better on the second run.

Rocksroy’s Age

Rocksroy is 44-years-old and is originally from Brooklyn, New York but currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. He told Entertainment Weekly that his mom is his superhero. He explained, “She raised me in the heart of Brooklyn during a time of crack cocaine, murder, and poverty. With her love and help, I am the man I am today.”

Rocksroy’s Job

Like Survivor castmate Marya Sherron, Rocksroy works as a stay-at-home dad and spends as much time as possible playing with his kids. He’s incredibly proud of his kids and his family, as well as being the first in his immigrant family, originally from Jamaica, to graduate college. He also loves basketball, camping, and golf. Rocksroy told Entertainment Weekly that he describes himself as a thankful and faithful man who is calm at all times, with one exception: driving. Anyone out there not using their turn signal isn’t Rocksroy’s favorite on the road.

When it comes to the game, Rocksroy cannot stand know-it-alls. If someone acts like they know everything, he loses respect for them. Something his fellow players might not know about him is that he is an environmental scientist who has been to over 20 countries. His former profession and travel experience could be helpful skillsets amongst the  Survivor 42 cast. When it comes to his game-play style, Rocksroy says he is most similar to John Cochran, who learned from his mistakes and tweaked his approach over time to compete at a higher level and win. He believes he could win it all because he knows what he is playing for, his family.

Rocksroy’s Instagram

Rocksroy does not have a public Instagram or Facebook. He could be focused on raising his kids and has made a healthy choice to stay off it in this day and age. On the other hand, he may have a social media presence that is more low-key and away from the public eye.

With enough energy to be a stay-at-home dad and a professional background in environmental science, it looks like Rocksroy has both the energy and the skill sets to go all the way. Fans will finally get to see his Survivor 42 journey in March.
