Jeremiah Wood was a contestant on the CBS reality competition series, Survivor: Cayagan season 28. Jeremiah was placed into the Beauty tribe, with the theme of the season being “Brains vs. Brawns vs. Beauty.”

Season 28 is one of the most exciting Survivor seasons. It’s celebrated for its plethora of drama and its contestants, some of whom are now very well-known. Jeremiah began on the Solana tribe (also known as the “Beauty” tribe), which won the first couple of Immunity Challenges. Jeremiah made it to a tribe swap and the merge. However, he was blindsided and eventually voted out in eighth place. He then became a member of the jury. The North Carolina native has spent his time since the show (which aired in 2014) supporting charities, speaking about his experiences, and working in the entertainment industry.

In a long-running Survivor radio show and podcast, which interviews and celebrates Survivor contestants, Jeremiah was nominated for an award. The annual awards ceremony is called Survivor Oz: Ozcars, and Jeremiah lost to tribemate LJ for Sexiest Male of the season. He was modeling before being cast on Survivor: Cayagan and continues to book modeling jobs all across the USA. He is under contract with a modeling agency.

In addition to his modeling, Jeremiah has created his own Jeremiahwood.com website, where he has added information about his speaking engagements, as well as the charities he has worked with. He reunited with fellow Survivor contestants, and other reality stars, to make appearances across the nation, with the goal of raising money. The charity is called Give Kids The World and the organization’s mission is providing free vacations to sick children and their whole families. He has also done other charity work in his native North Carolina.

He has shown a love for kids in his charity work and his speaking engagements. He has spoken about his Survivor experiences at various schools in his home state. The Survivor alum even attended one of Johnny Fairplay’s birthday parties. In fact, he remains on good terms with many of his former castmates.

Besides his philanthropic efforts and speaking on his Survivor adventures, Jeremiah has expanded from modeling work into some minor acting roles. He appeared in a short film that came out in 2020. It is titled Split Second and was entered into various film festivals. When he isn’t busy working, Jeremiah spends his time outdoors. According to his @thejeremiahwood Instagram, he spent some time enjoying nature in Wyoming and Montana, where he hiked and explored the area.

Since his time on Survivor, Jeremiah has used his platform to speak to others about his experiences, to raise money for charity, and to continue his passion for modeling. Hopefully, fans get to see more from him on TV soon, either on Survivor or another project!
