The Blistering Fang is a rare, sought-after crafting material used for forging one of the Tales of Arise‘s most powerful crafted weapons: the Realm Unifier. Wielded by Alphen, this sword is undoubtedly one of the best weapons to have in the game, besides the Nebilim. While having adequate healing utility via CP in Tales of Arise is reliable for the player’s party, being able to deal massive damage against the enemy with potent weapons such as the Realm Unifier can save players’ time and resources.

As expected, the Blistering Fang is not easy to find in Tales of Arise, and players will need to have completed the main story to access a few particular Sub-Quests. After completing “Another Hillside Anomaly” and the “Spirit Temple” quest, players will be able to enter the area where Blistering Fang is farmable.

Players need four materials to forge Alphen’s legendary weapon in Tales of Arise. First, players must obtain an Iron Pipe during the “Mysterious Pair” Sub-Quest. To begin the quest, players can speak to Wonder Bard located in Niez, Mahag Saar. The pipe is an item acquired as a part of the objectives, not as a quest reward. The second material required for the Realm Unifier is the Ominous Eyeball. While trekking through the perilous Lower Levels (1F) of Tarfhal Helgarahi, players will encounter Astral Sloths, enemies that will drop the needed eyeballs. Within the same area, players can also obtain Cursed Claws, a material dropped by Astral Doubts.

How to Get Blistering Fang in Tales of Arise

To get Blistering Fang in Tales of Arise, players must travel to the Lower Level of the Volcano of Renewal within The Otherworld. The area can be quickly accessed using the portal in the Earth Spirit Temple. Inside the fiery volcano, players will encounter several Furious Boars. They will need to defeat these beasts to obtain the fangs. After collecting all the necessary materials, players can finally craft the Realm Unifier for Alphen in Tales of Arise.

The sword has the following stats:

  • Attack: 554
  • Elemental Attack: 552
  • Penetration: 554

Players should keep in mind that they will need 20,800 Gald to forge the Realm Unifier in Tales of Arise, but players should have been able to procure this amount organically while farming for the weapon’s crafting materials.

Tales of Arise is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
