Stone Fragments are a resource that are used to craft and upgrade weapons in Tales of Arise. Players will also need to gather Stone Fragments to complete the Sub-Quest “The Hunt For New Arms.” To obtain this quest, players will need to speak to an NPC named Dyron. His location in Tales of Arise is next to the Inn in Ulzebek. Dyron is also the quest giver for “Supply Procurement” and “Forging From Scratch.”

Completing “The Hunt For New Arms” will reward the player with 700 Gald and 170 SP. Players can use their well-earned Gald to buy useful items in shops like orange gels, pineapple gels, and other consumables that restore party CP (cure points) in Tales of Arise. Leftover Stone Fragments can also be sold if the player doesn’t have any more use for them. Continue reading to learn how to get Stone Fragments in Tales of Arise.

To get Stone Fragments, players must travel to Iglia Wastes in Tales of Arise. The Iglia Wastes is a zone directly bordering Ulzebek, so players needn’t go far from the quest giver to search for the required materials. Alternatively, players can fast travel to the starting point of the wasteland close to the entrance of the Fagan Ruins. This method is recommended as it’s closer to the target that will provide the Stone Fragments, a Golem. The particular golem players will be farming is sitting near the two rows of pillars in the desert ruins. Enter the area and be on the lookout for an abnormal rock formation on the ground. If players approach it, the Golem will rise from the ground, commencing battle.

How to Get and Use Stone Fragments in Tales of Arise

After defeating the Golem, players will be rewarded with one or more Stone Fragments. To gather more, use the fast-travel point in Iglia Wastes again. This action will respawn the Golem, granting players another opportunity to defeat it for its resource drops. After collecting enough fragments, return to the Ulzebek Inn and deliver the stone to Dyron to complete the Calaglia Sub-Quest in Tales of Arise.

Stone Fragments can also be used for crafting and upgrading weapons in Tales of Arise, such as Shionne’s Basic Rifle. The Basic Rifle’s recipe consists of Stone Fragment x2, Membrane Wing x1, and Astral Crystal Grain x1. Players can obtain Membrane Wings by slaying Bees in the Iglia Wastes. Finally, Astral Crystal Grain can be found in the Glanymede Castle, the stronghold of Lord Balseph.

Tales of Arise is available on Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
