Over the past few years, Netflix has expanded its horizons and began churning out television shows and films that are “Netflix Originals.” It’s a brilliant move and television shows are doing very well among viewers; in particular, shows like 13 Reasons Why. Even if fans of the streaming service haven’t seen the show, they know what it is and have heard of it on some sort of level. 13 Reasons Why is an important show, because it doesn’t hold back when it comes to real issues teens might have to deal with.

Pretty Little Liars stopped at seven seasons, but it’s packed with drama, juicy storylines and a mystery to solve; just like 13 Reasons Why. The cast is well-rounded and the scheming, betrayal and plots that tie into each other is just too good and it would be a shame to miss.

9 Euphoria (2019)

After 13 Reasons Why, came Euphoria and it’s easy to compare the two, based on the issues they both address. Euphoria follows Rue, a troubled and suicidal teen with a drug problem, that’s just trying to get through high school. She meets Jules, a trans woman that has her own problems to sort out and starts a friendship with her. It’s much like 13 Reasons Why as it shows the dark side of high school and what some teens go through.
