Teen Mom 2: Chelsea DeBoer Slams Her Daughter Aubree’s Body-Shamers

Teen Mom 2 star Chelsea DeBoer hit back at social media followers who had negative things to say about her daughter Aubree’s body in a recent social media post. Chelsea often posts cute photos with 11-year-old, and viewers aren’t always kind in the comments section. The mother of four expressed her true feelings about the negativity and directly addressed her daughter’s body-shamers.

Viewers watched Chelsea’s pregnancy journey with Aubree on 16 and Pregnant and followed the reality star mother for 10 seasons on Teen Mom 2. Fans saw Chelsea fall in love with her husband, Cole DeBoer, and expand her family by three more children on the series before she announced her exit from the cast this year. Despite leaving the show, Chelsea maintains a large social media following and continues to share her family life with fans. She recently opened up about her feelings towards followers’ negative comments toward her firstborn.

Chelsea revealed her thoughts on her daughters’ critics in an Instagram Q&A this week, as reported by Page Six. One fan asked: “Are you surprised by how fast Aubs is growing up? R u amused to everyone’s reaction to it?” The Teen Mom star agreed, replying: “I did want to answer this because I am amused by everyone’s reaction to it because I know you guys feel like you know Aubree.” She continued, “Someone was like, ‘We’re all her Aunties,’ and I thought that was so cute.” Chelsea went on to address the body-shaming comments, expressing her disgust. “But I do have one thing that I do not like and it makes me sick honestly is when people comment on her body,” she said.

The star went on to completely shut down the unnecessary shaming of her young daughter. “She’s an 11, almost 12-year-old girl and I don’t know why people feel like they can comment on her body in any way shape or form,” she said. “It makes me not want to post her.” Chelsea’s hesitation to share Aubree with the world continues from her leave from Teen Mom 2. This year, Chelsea said she wanted Aubree to experience her teen years off-camera. She said in an interview months ago that she and Aubree have had conversations about this part of their lives. Chelsea started worrying because she didn’t want her daughter to feel like she can’t open up to her mom about things that are going to end up being aired on TV and watched by millions of viewers. Chelsea wants those private moments regarding her daughter to stay private. Reflecting on this and having those kinds of conversations with Aubree are what led her to leave Teen Mom and start a new chapter in her life.
