Teen Mom 2: Leah Messer Not Sure If She’s Ready To Marry Jaylan Yet

Teen Mom 2‘s Leah Messer has shared her thoughts about having more kids and a future with boyfriend Jaylan Mobley. Leah and Jaylan have been going stronger since they were spotted at an ESPN and Army event. The couple’s September 2020 public appearances sparked romance rumors. Later, Leah hinted that her reality show would feature the origin of her relationship with Jaylan. She also gushed, “A lot of fun and exciting things happened with that. Getting to meet his family, him meeting my family and definitely meeting the girls.”

One year after they met, the “Hope, Grace, and Faith” author and Jaylan went Instagram official in September 2021. Jaylan, a former NASA employee, appeared on Leah’s MTV reality series a few months after. Meanwhile, before Jaylan made his first on-camera appearance, Leah ensured their relationship already had a strong foundation. Leah is well aware of how living in the public’s eye can affect one’s relationship and took measures to prevent such from happening to her and Jaylan. She revealed in an interview that she bonded well with Jaylan and trusted him before introducing her kids, family, and the cameras.

Jaylan and the West Virginia native have shown their beautiful relationship on different occasions. Thus, Teen Mom fans are accustomed to their love. However, despite being acquainted for more than a year now, Leah told Us Weekly about her thoughts on their future together, “I just wanna continue getting to know each other. I think that with time, we’ll see if that’s something.” Also, Leah, a mom of three, shared her fears about marriage affecting their relationship. Although Leah said she doesn’t believe marriage should change anything, she confirmed that it has affected her past relationships. Leah said, “it’s scary,” before adding that It is “a huge commitment.”

The reality star’s view about marriage may not be surprising to many of her fans, as she has had her fair share of broken marriages. Leah was married for the first time to Corey Simms. She and Corey were married from October 2010 to June 2011 and share 12-year-old twins Ali and Aleeah. After divorcing Corey, Leah tried marriage for the second time with Jeremy Calvert. They welcomed a daughter, Addie, before calling it quit in June 2015. While Leah’s relationships went sour, they did not affect her love for her kids. However, she is unsure about having more kids. When asked about child-bearing, Leah said, “I don’t know. We’ll see. I really don’t know.”

Leah showed courage to open up about her fears of getting married to Jaylan. Her fears are understandable if one should consider her history with marriages. The Teen Mom 2star is also unsure about having more children, which shouldn’t be surprising given that she is already a mom of three. However, despite Leah’s words, her relationship with Jaylan remains strong. No one knows what Jaylan’s thoughts about marriage and kids are. However, if he wants to tie the knot or have kids with Leah, there is no doubt he will be able to convince her and calm her fears. No one knows what the future will bring, but Leah and Jaylan are in a good place now. Hopefully, things will remain that way for the sweet couple.
