Teen Mom: Farrah Abraham’s Mother Admits She’s ‘Afraid’ For Granddaughter

Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham’s mother, Debra Danielsen, is worried for her granddaughter Sophia’s safety after Farrah’s recent arrest. The reality TV star is no stranger to controversy, especially when it comes to dealing with her mother. Debra and Farrah rarely got along while on the show, and it doesn’t look like they are faring much better off it.

MTV fans first met Farrah when she appeared on 16 and Pregnant in 2009. She later transitioned to the first season of Teen Mom and Teen Mom OG. Viewers learned quickly that Farrah was living a hard life that involved a lot of conflict with her mother. The star’s parents were often shown arguing with Farrah, even calling the police when she claimed her mother abused her. Farrah always struggled with the death of Derek Underwood, who was Sophia’s father. Derek was killed in a tragic car accident. After that loss, everything started to go downhill for Farrah, who was fired from MTV in 2017.

Farrah was arrested on Sunday for slapping a security guard while at Grandmaster Records in Los Angeles. Fans were not surprised by her aggressive behavior. Debra spoke to The Sun, revealing she is “afraid” for Sophia and hopes that her daughter faces the consequences of her actions. Debra continued to say she is always “praying for a miracle” but is tired of Farrah always playing the victim card. According to Debra, “Bad behavior has consequences. And you have to treat people with respect, people who don’t have to get corrected.”

Teen Mom followers are not surprised that Debra, who is known in the rapping world as DebzOG, has a strong opinion about her daughter’s arrest. Debra’s prayers come directly after Farrah posted a video to her Instagram page, which showed her trying to break free after being pinned to the ground. During the post, Farrah blamed a friend for setting her up. Farrah shared with followers that she was traumatized from the event and didn’t deserve to be attacked. Farrah even called for the team at Grandmaster Records to be fired. In typical Farrah spirit, she noted that she is looking forward to getting her law degree and for justice to be done.

According to witnesses, a patron at the club tried to assault the star’s entourage and then made a citizen’s arrest. This is not the first time Farrah has become hostile and been caught. In 2018 the Teen Mom starlet was arrested for smacking a Polo Lounge employee located at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Farrah took a plea deal and was put on probation for two years, along with performing five days of community service. Farrah is now awaiting her trial, which is set for May 2022.
