Teen Mom: Javi Defends Ex Lauren As Kailyn Accuses Her Of Body Shaming

Javi Marroquin from MTV’s Teen Mom 2 is once again finding himself in the middle of a fight, but he is making it clear that he is taking Lauren Comeau’s side in the battle. Javi has often found himself on the wrong side of Kailyn, especially after the couple divorced in 2016. The two had a rough few years of co-parenting, but for a moment, it seemed like the duo were on the same page as they developed a friendly co-parenting relationship.

Kailyn and Javi have had a tumultuous storyline within the Teen Mom franchise. After Javi’s marriage ended, he set his sights on another franchise co-star, Briana DeJesus. The relationship caused major issues with Kailyn, and the two ended up calling it quits. Javi then met Lauren and became engaged. While trying to set a wedding date, the couple had their son, Eli. Javi’s relationship was undermined when Kailyn revealed in an episode that Javi had tried to proposition her while he was engaged. Naturally, Lauren called off the engagement in January. The fallout from this break-up has been ugly, but Javi and Kailyn seemed to be forging a new relationship.

Kailyn took to her Instagram Story to share that a few weeks ago, Lauren and her ex, Chris Lopez, had body-shamed her by calling her fat after her Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) diagnosis back in March. Javi wasted no time in adding his two cents as he shared an intense Instagram Live video, reposted by @teenmomshaderoom, where he told fans, “This is why I stopped filming and I refuse to go back to this life. I’m so over this s–t man.” Javi pleaded with Kailyn to stop talking about Lauren, who, according to him, hasn’t said anything about the MTV star in months.

Both Lauren and Kailyn exchanged words, revealing in her story that she called her a “C U Next Tuesday.” While Kailyn revealed that she was not proud of how the conversation went, she felt that her explicit words did not match Lauren’s hate speech against fat people. Kailyn also shared that she was extremely upset and affected by the comments made about her appearance and felt that most people couldn’t imagine what she was going through. During her Coffee Convos podcast in March, Kailyn broke down in tears after being diagnosed and struggling to lose weight.

Javi mentioned that Lauren was not the type of woman to try and bring others down. Chris also took to his social media to express his views saying that Kailyn refused to see her own flaws. Until this outburst, Kailyn and Javi had been doing well at getting along for the sake of their son, Lincoln. While Kailyn has not yet responded to Javi’s video, Teen Mom 2 fans can only assume she is not pleased with his lack of support.
