The return of Terriers may finally be in the works, according to one of the stars of the short-lived series. The show was a comedy-drama that doubled as a crime program, airing for 13 episodes on FX a decade ago. Terriers couldn’t count an audience above a million viewers after the pilot and was subsequently canceled as a result. It was a critical darling, however, and interest in reviving it in some fashion has been rising for years.

Donal Logue, one ofTerriers‘ stars, is now confirming that a return to Ocean Beach, San Diego may be on the horizon. Logue played unlicensed private investigator Hank Dolworth, and when speaking with ComicBook.com, the series star shared that executive producer Shawn Ryan and creator Ted Griffin have both brought up the possibility of reviving the program. This revival could take the form of either a follow-up movie or a rebooted show.

Logue cited the show’s reborn popularity as a factor in the possible revival of the show. Terriers was added to Hulu in March when the FX on Hulu promotion began. While there are no numbers on how many people are streaming the show, its availability has certainly led to new people finding it and falling in love with it.

Terriers didn’t get its due when it was first on in Fall 2010, another one-season show canceled before it could find its audience. Ryan attempted to use Kickstarter to create a Terriers movie back in 2013, but it never happened. Hopefully, Terriers has better success for this potential revival.
