Teen Titans ran from 2003 to 2006, ending with a TV movie. The Titans consisted of Robin, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy, and Cyborg. The team had plenty of adventures together. They were all good friends; Cyborg and Beast Boy loved playing video games, Starfire and Robin had hints of a romantic relationship, and Raven was usually skulking and meditating.

10 “Apprentice: Part 1” (9.1)

Slade is at it again when he threatens to stop time with a dastardly device. The first part of this intense episode finds the Titans accidentally split up from one another, with Robin going after Slade and the remainder of the team going after his henchmen. The team are unfortunately infected by deadly probes, and Robin reluctantly joins Slade as his apprentice to keep his team safe.

9 “Aftershock: Part 2” (9.1)

The second half of “Aftershock” brings plenty of heartbreak for the Titans, and for Terra. The Titans are not giving up without a fight, and they go after Slade and Terra, but victory isn’t so sweet in the end. Terra regrets her betrayal, and ultimately sacrifices her own life to save the city and fix the mess she was a part of, leaving the Titans, especially Beast Boy, mourning her.

8 “The End: Part 1” (9.1)

The day Raven has always dreaded finally arrives, and she tries to make her friends’ last day as perfect as she can. However, they eventually find out why, and they place her in a room alone to protect her while they go after Slade. Unfortunately, this plan doesn’t work, and Raven ends alongside Slade anyway.

She tells Slade he is merely a pawn in her father Trigon’s plans, but Slade refuses to believe her, and it doesn’t end well for him. Raven asks her friends to let her go, and succumbs to being the portal for Trigon.

7 “The End: Part 2” (9.1)

Slade becomes a surprising ally to the Titans as they try to defeat Trigon, but Slade helps them with his own interests in mind. Slade and Robin go off on their own, with Robin hoping to find Raven. Robin sees what Slade looks like without his mask, and learns why Slade helped Trigon. Meanwhile, the Titans try battling Trigon and end up having to battle the clones of them that Trigon creates.

6 “The End: Part 3” (9.2)

Robin brings back a younger version of Raven, and she finds she knows just what to do when the time comes to defeat her treacherous father once and for all. She turns into an older version of herself and is no longer wearing black, but white as she saves the world from her father and becomes free to live her life without the prophecy hanging over her head. Slade attains his flesh and blood as he had intended, and the Titans know they will be dealing with him again.

5 “Aftershock: Part 1” (9.2)

The team is faced with quite a problem in the form of Terra, who is sent by Slade to destroy the Titans once and for all. She isn’t alone, either, as she frees criminals from prison to help her do the job.

With the villains loose in the city, the Titans are forced to come out of hiding, and thus, each one is placed in significant danger.

4 “Birthmark” (9.2)

Raven dreads her birthday, even going as far as destroying the decorations the Titans put up for her. Robin tries to find out what’s wrong with her, but before they can delve too deeply into the topic, they’re alerted to trouble in the form of Slade. Slade has new, and dangerous, powers and Raven even manages to stop time. This leads to her telling Robin why she dreads her birthday so much. Slade delivers a terrifying message to Raven, who then witnesses a horrifying vision. In the end, the Titans throw her another birthday party, this time with Raven joining in. Though she knows the horrors from her vision aren’t over yet.

3 “Apprentice: Part 2” (9.3)

The drama heightens in the second half, as the team initially fears they have been betrayed by Robin, who is now Slade’s apprentice. They are unsure what to make of it until Robin hesitates to hurt Starfire, clueing them in as to what’s really going on. This leads to a fight between the Titans and Slade, with Robin making a sacrifice in becoming infected with probes himself. Luckily, they defeat the villain and Cyborg removes the probes from the members of the team. Though, it’s not the last they’ve seen of Slade.

2 “Haunted” (9.4)

The team fears for Robin’s sanity in this episode, as he seems to be conjuring up Slade in his own mind. Robin believes Slade is about to cause an earthquake in the city, but when the team goes to investigate, they find nothing.

However, it turns out that Robin’s imagination may not be getting the better of him after all, as someone was using a hallucinogenic chemical in Slade’s mask that subsequently caused Robin to hallucinate the villain. The chemical had to be triggered, leaving the episode on an ambiguous note as to who was behind it.

1 “Titans Together” (9.4)

Beast Boy recruits the Teen Titans left over after the Brotherhood has seemingly defeated them all. Beast Boy and the others manage to capture Cinderblock, who gives them the Brotherhood’s location as well as a way in. Things seem hopeless for a moment, but more Titans arrive, including Raven, Starfire and Cyborg, to help Beast Boy and his team. As fate would have it, the Titans free the trapped Titans and beat the Brotherhood, and also get to hear one of Beast Boy’s bad jokes. All in a day’s work for the team!
